Finding brake parts for an older Chevy C70 is becoming nearly impossible, so I was relieved to find Sweeting Performance. It wasn't inexpensive, but considering what a new truck costs today, it was a very worthwhile investment.

I have a '60s Mopar, and finding brake components that actually fit the application and perform the way they're supposed to isn't always straightforward. Sweeting Performance took the time to answer my questions, explain the options, and recommend the right hydro-boost setup for my car instead of just trying to make a sale.

The installation went smoothly, the parts were well made, and the difference in braking performance is outstanding. The pedal feel is excellent, stopping power is dramatically improved, and the system has worked flawlessly since installation. It's one of the best upgrades I've made to the car.

Based on my experience, they're knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly know these older Mopar brake systems inside and out. Custom and specialty parts aren't the same as ordering something off a warehouse shelf, so I think it's worth having realistic expectations and communicating with the company if you have questions.

I'd buy from Sweeting Performance again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality brake upgrade for a classic Mopar.

I ordered a hydroboost kit in February of 2025, it has been 15 months. All I got was the hose kit, still waiting on the hydroboost and wilwood master cylinder. Once in a while I get a reply to my emails saying I will be notified when the parts ship. I am pretty sure I got scammed

I order and paid for a brake booster on 10/27/22. As of 12/13/23 I've yet to receive it. I have several email promising a tracking number and ship date. Plenty of excuses as to why the delay. Buy at your own risk.

Ordered a hydro boost got my Jeep on March1st 2023. After about two weeks I emailed them to inquire about a possible shipping date. I was told ten weeks. That date came and went so I contacted them again. This time I was told 5 more weeks. That date came and went. Emailed them again told them to either ship the booster or cancel the order and refund my money. This time I got no response. Tried to call, couldn’t leave a voicemail. It’s now September 29th and still no response. I have now filled a complaint with the BBB, and will be posting unsatisfactory reviews wherever I can. Hate to say it but so far Sweeting looks like a thief that stole my $826.00.

Placed order October 30 2022 with website saying 30-60 day leadtime. I figured with holidays it might take a little longer. So on February 1 2023 I email asking what is going on. I was told there was a delay with hydro-boost it will be 7 more weeks. So on April 20 2023 I contact again saying 7 weeks have come and gone whats the deal and said if it not shipped by April 28 I would like a refund. I was told order was complete will see email with tracking shortly. So on April 28 I get an email with tracking today is May 2 2023 and its still not shipped. I have contacted my credit card company today to file for a charge back since my item is not shipped . He has very poor business with telling the truth and if you are that busy maybe you need hire someone instead of lieing to people.

Terrible communication! 4-months to get a booster, then said maybe another 30 - 60 days ! SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF! TERRIBLE!

They take the money when you order and that's about the only contact you will see unless you spam mail them. 8 weeks and only returned one real email all others were canned auto-responses telling me to wait just a little while longer after that they just ignored everything. Finally got them to acknowledge the order was canceled when I disputed the charge on my credit card company. In short, they SUCK. I guess they will call this resolved because the credit card company forced a return...

So I ordered and prepaid for the whole shebang… lines, hoses, master, slave etc… after about 4 months I phoned and emailed. Finally after repeated emails he promised to send it ASAP. Two months later I managed to get a hold of him again. He said he would send the parts in a week. A month later I get a random box of adapters two hoses and the.proportioning valve. I call again. No response to emails or calls. It's been almost a full year!
I even offered to get measurements and help him any way I could very very dissatisfied and really disappointed.

ordered a brake system part from Sweeting Performance Engineering Manufacturing and Design. Part was sent, slow, seems to be wrong part.
Attempted to contact by phone and immediatly learn that he leaves his answering machine full so you cannot reach anyone. Tried contacting hin by email abd have reciebed no response to multiple attempts.

This issue was resolved with the customer,I had done work that they requested, when it was shipped to the address that they provided it returned as undeliverable, and I tried to contact them regarding it over a couple of monthsWhen it was returned after getting the correct address, because
