June 3, 2015       Revdex.com 4747 Viewridge Ave #200 San Diego, CA  92123 Attn: Ms. [redacted]   Re: ID # [redacted] – [redacted]   Dear Ms. [redacted],...

Thank you for your letter dated May 22 and the opportunity to respond and clarify this situation.   Mr. [redacted] opted to purchase the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan with Tire and Wheel Coverage.  This coverage only covers tires when there is a failure due to a road hazard, not normal wear and tear.  We have covered tires on two occasions for Mr. [redacted].  Once on RO 64931, dated 08/09/2013 and on RO 66240, dated 12/16/2013.  On these two tire replacements, the reason was due to a nail in the tire, which were authorized and paid by his H-D Extended Service plan.   As far as the other complaints about his motorcycle, those items were address and repaired when the motorcycle was brought to the service department and a great deal of all his repairs were paid by his Extended Service Plan, leaving him responsible for the $50.00 deductible.    We would be happy to look at Mr. [redacted]’s motorcycle for trade, but unfortunately, we do have to take in to consideration the cracked frame and damaged primary case which appears to be the result of an accident.   This is why the motorcycle is leaking.   This motorcycle was not sold in this condition in October 2012, so we have to be fair in its appraisal.    Thank you, Sweetwater Harley-Davidson   [redacted] C. I am not satisfied with your company's response. Yes, I agree you have changed my tires twice, but in one occasion you didn't because you didn't specify worn out tires. Now, the tires is not what I really care about, I care about is the motor's oil spills being fixed and the frame has nothing to do with the motor. Your company said they would contact me to let me know what was going to happen with my motorcycle since April 15 or 20, 2015 (not sure about exact date) and I still haven't received a call from your business. Your company has not taken the time and attention to give us any updates and it is now June 11, 2015.

Dear Ms [redacted],Thank you again for the letter dated Fri, June 12 and another opportunity to respond.Mr. [redacted] has been called several times by our Service Manager. In order to resolve this situation Mr. [redacted] needs to come in and discuss the situation.  We look forward to speaking to him soon.Thank you,[redacted]

Review: Since we bought the motorcycle in 2012, it would get humid under where the oil is located but it would not leak. We took it to fix something in the transmission about five months after we purchased it. A couple months after I had a flat tire and I took it in for the company to replace the tire, and they said that my warranty doesn't cover worn out tires. In my warranty policy it said that it covers tires too, they did not specify about worn out tires, it just said 'tires'. I had to buy my own tire and had to take it to be installed to another place. Also they said they do not cover cushions and in my extended warranty it said that they did cover the cushions. Now that it was actually leaking oil, we took it in and they said that the frame was broken and that's why it was leaking. They also said they wouldn't fix the leak until we fix the frame. They said that they would do the job but we had pay them or else I had to take it to a certified place for the frame fix, or else they would put it in salvage, which I think is very unfair because I am still paying for the motorcycle and we bought an extended warranty and in reality, it would get humid as I may say again, but it would not leak since it was purchased. A staff member told me "don't even mess with it anymore or else I will cancel your extended warranty and nothing will be done to your motorcycle." Which my wife and I, desperately went to a seller in the same agency and asked if we could exchange it for a new motorcycle and how much they would give us for our motorcycle. They said that they had to go take a look at its condition because it was being repaired at the same place and the seller went to repairs to take a look and he said that the frame wasn't broken, the frames' welding was the problem.Desired Settlement: Either replace my motorcycle for another one, or fix it completely.

Review: Sweetwater Harley waited 13 months to transfer the Title to the motorcycle that I purchased. According to California State code (V C Section 5753 Delivery of Certificate and Card) they owe me a penalty of $2500. As a result of them not transferring the title to me I incurred many other expenses. My motorcycle was towed while I was deployed and sat in impound for 3 weeks because the bike was registered to the previous owner, that cost me $850. I was also charged an extra $30 a month on my loan for nearly a year because the title was not transferred.Desired Settlement: I would like the $3000 that they owe me for the V C Section 5753 Delivery of Certificate and Card penalty and the towing costs. Or I would like Sweetwater Harley to purchase the Motorcycle back, for what I paid.
