certification. If the individual is not employed by a Long Term Care Facility or a similar setting, this course is mandatory. Every individual receives a recertification form from the State of Hawaii which clearly states what the requirements are for renewal (see attachment). The day of the course, I asked all attendees their Name and their work experience for renewal of their license. Prior to speaking to Darlene, I had been speaking to the other students about their employment and required work hours. When I addressed Darlene, I specifically asked her if she had her requirements and she told me that she did and the class was given. After a period of time, Darlene called the school and was very upset that she had been denied license renewal by the State of Hawaii. She was told that she was denied because she did not have her required work hours. I explained to her that she was given the information for renewal from the State of Hawaii; as well as before the start of class. Darlene phoned more than once demanding a full refund of the class tuition. No mention was ever made regarding the class itself prior to her letter to the Revdex.com.                As the owner of the school, I feel that she was given a written explanation of the work requirements by the State of Hawaii. In addition, I personally asked her if she had the required work hours. Therefore a refund was not warranted. When I refused her a refund, she became very angry and began issuing threats of legal action. Your review and consideration of this matter is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need any additional Information. Thank you again.         Sincerely,Linda [redacted]-S[redacted]CEO| Administrator Owner| Instructor
