I am so pleased with the service provided to repair a leak in a bathroom sink, it took 4 visits with 3 plumbers and they were all wonderful and explained the issues. It turned out to be bad pipes but without tearing out the vanity it was a process of elimination. I was only charged once and everyone was kind and most concerned about providing the best customer service and fixing the problem. I will absolutely recommend this company to everyone I know and especially technician [redacted]

It's over twice the competitor and it's just unprofessional and predatorial to do business this way. I advise caution with this company.
Found 5 inches of water in my unfinished basement after returning from an out-of-town trip. Immediately searched the website for Rotor Rooter (RR) (@1:00 pm, June 21, 2015). The online scheduler was not operating. No confirmatin email arrived. I then called Rotor Rooter using the website local number for Dayton Area (approximately 2:45 pm; 937-434-4152) in case the email system was not working. I was assured that someone would be calling me within the hour to schedule an ETA. No call was received. Called 2 more times. No one called to set up ETA. At 8:15 am (June 22) I called again reporting my previous phone conversations with RR. After explaining that I needed water removal was told that the cost would be $1000. I asked about the free estimate (a part of RR's advertising claim) before guaranteed service. The service person had no response and made it clear that he was not going to come to my home. This is a case of both misrepresentation in advertising and service.
We have relied on Roto-Rooter in the past and called your services again this morning. Your Roody [redacted] performed a building sewer cleaning for us, he advised us by phone re schedule, he arrived on-time, he was very courteous and respectful. Mr. [redacted] explained the issues he believed we were contending with and fully summarized his approach to remedy our situation. He completed his tasks timely, checked system performance to insure our satisfaction with his work and overall conducted himself very professionally. I am a state licensed contract plumber, I quizzed Roody on a number of points and his knowledge was exemplary, a young man of this caliber should be considered for advancement.
