Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear They still have offered me anything to help with the situation. The truck is still broke down and they are not willing to help.
Regards,
[redacted]

[redacted] purchased this 2007 Nissan Versa from us
on July 17th, 2015. When the deal was made, we agreed to fix the
vehicle’s sway bar links as well as the sun-visor. The vehicle was diagnosed by
[redacted] and one of the dealerships detailers; NOT one of our technicians.
Regardless, a...

technician ended up diagnosing the vehicle with an engine cradle
issue, not sway bar links. A due bill was written out with the proper diagnosis
promising the repairs (attached to this response with receipts). Out of good
faith, we ended up replacing the sub-frame mounts as well as the rear arm
bushings even though these were not promised. The agreed upon repairs were
completed properly early September. As for the check engine light, [redacted]
did not mention this issue at time of sale nor was it diagnosed after the fact.
The vehicle was sold AS-IS with no warranty; with a warranty disclaimer
contract signed stating that a third party warranty was not purchased. It has
been driven over 5,300 miles since the time of sale. If a warranty had been purchased through a third party source at time of sale, the engine repairs would have been addressed per contractual agreement. It is a used vehicle, and
things will break. We have done everything in our hands to resolve this issue.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Thank You, [redacted]

The 2007 Nissan Versa has not been repaired per the
agreement prior to purchasing the vehicle. We agreed to purchase the car if
they could fix the rattling noise & vibration. To this day it is not
repaired and even worst then previous.
We told the salesman ([redacted]) that we would only purchase if
it was repaired. He asked the owner and
she said okay. They agreed and wrote up a repair order based on the diagnosis
of their two mechanics that was there at the time. They told us to come back in
1 week and they would have the part(s). 1
week became 2, 3 then months. Each time we came it was either not ordered, or
the wrong part.
We actually made 3 – 4 trips to Cincinnati for the repairs
to be made. The head mechanic stated it was not as the first two gentleman
said, and that he knew what was broke and would fix it.
After, several attempts no success. On the last try, the
vehicle was making more noise and vibration than the 1st time. We
had just left the car dealer and my friend asked me, “What is that noise”. I
replied that is what we came here for them to repair.
We then took it to a Nissan dealer in Columbus. They
diagnosed it as something totally different. They supplied us with an estimate
repair cost. They also inform us that the vehicle had prior front end damage
due to an accident, and the wiring was messed-up, which we were not aware of
either.
I, nor my husband is a mechanic and we did not make the
diagnosis. We was okay with whatever we were told by the mechanics at
Cincinnati Used Auto Sales.
We are not satisfied with the repairs because the initial
problem was never repaired. As far as I’m considered, Cincinnati Used Auto
Sales did not keep their written agreement with us also we were fooled us as it
relates to the other damages.
P.S. (In response to
the manager’s statement)
1) We did not expect the car to run as a new vehicle, nor
did we expect for the check engine light to appear on our way home from
purchasing the car.
2) Much more, we did not expect to have to purchase a new
engine within the first 4 months.
3) We have purchased several used vehicles older than this
one from private owners, (2) 2002 and (1) 2003, with no issues compared to
these of the used car dealer.
4) We also feel tricked because we were informed by Nissan
they could tell just by looking under the hood it is visible that the car had
been in a front-end accident. In the repairs someone jacked-up the wiring. Which
also needs repairing.

My argument is that the check engine light came on as we were driving home for purchasing the car. Also the agreement they made in repairing the rattle/noise/vibration was never fixed. I have an estimate from the Nissan Dealer of the cost for that to be repaired. The problem was not what they said it was. The manager who wasn't there doing the discussion keep saying they my husband diagnosed the problem. Not true my husband isn't a mechanic, he only agreed with the mechanics. As to the managers comments about the miles put on the car, we had issues prior to putting the miles on the vehicle. We put 100 miles each way back and forward to Cincinnati  3- 4 times for repairs which never solved the problem. Also we do travel in our vehicles, which is why we purchased it.   We always spoke to the former salesman ([redacted]) whenever we called with an issue until he was no longer employed there. I do hope the attacked documents are helpful. Thanks,Carla A. F. Burnett, M.A.L.S
