Telling me the problem with my car. I paid for it to be fixed then it was not what the problem was. I stopped by Swift Auto and talk to [redacted] the owner. I told him what my car was doing ac was cool on highway gets warm at stoplights and he said it was low on freon. I took my car back the next day to have freon put in. I watch as two of his workers connected the machine, drained the freon then ran the leak test. It showed no leaks then the freon was placed in my car. I paid him $90.00 plus the tax. As I was driving home I noticed the car was still doing the samething. I thought maybe it needed time to run through the system. I travel across [redacted] and into [redacted] working during the summer months delivering new school bus while [redacted] Public Schools is out for the summer. I left the next morning for [redacted] at 4 am only being home 9 nights in 2 months. I was schedule to come off the road 8-20 so I called and spoke to [redacted] and made an appointment for 8-22 I told her the car was still doing the samething. I ended up getting home on the 17th so I took my car to Swift August 18. [redacted] the owner was there he told me he had two cars in and to bring my car back after lunch. I did as he told me to do once there he told me he was waiting on parts and could not get my car in and to give his secretary my phone number and he would call me so again I did what he told me to do. Monday came and I had not gotten a call from him so I went back to his shop to find that he was out of the office for the week at the lake. The following week [redacted] still had not called me and and had made a few trips to his shop and he was not in. September 7 when I arrived at [redacted] was there. I went into the office to talk to him. I told him my car was still doing the samething that I told him it was doing on the highways the ac is cool but at stoplights it got warm. He got up from his seat raised his voice at me and said Ive been doing this 35 years, I'm not going to work on your car free I am going to give you a refund then he walked out of the office and with the same loud voice told his employee to wash up and take my car down the road.The [redacted] left the office to go to the doctor to get his blood pressure medicine that he was out of. To be honest when he stood up as fast as he did with the loud voice it kind of scared me just alittle. I drove and his employee rode with me and seen my car ac was getting warm when it was not moving.Once back his employee was going to do a pressure test but my motor was to hot. [redacted] did not check anything he just said low on freon. He was going to put a fan on it to cool the motor down so he could connect the machine. I told him I would have to bring the car back I didn't have time for all that I had to get back to work. He called [redacted] and told him what it was doing then he stepped behind a car to I could not hear the conversation. Then I was told [redacted] was not going to refund my money. I went back several times and again [redacted] was not in the office. I finally told his secretary that he had to Wednesday X-XX-XX to call me so we can get this solved or I was going to file a complain. [redacted] called me back not [redacted]. If I could bring my car in he was check it out to see what was going on with the ac. When [redacted] told me $90.00 I agreed to that believing it would fix the ac. I am not a real tight budget and not able to spend anymore to see what is wrong. Had [redacted] told me that it might be the freon or anything for me to know that the ac still might not work I would have spent my hard earn money to have it go out the windows to speak. Not once did I know that after spending the money the ac would still do what it was doing before the freon was placed in my car. So I pretty much paid him $90.00 plus tax for nothing. The first time I bought my car to Swift and explained excalty what it was going why would he just assume it was the freon and if he has 35 years experience why would he not run a pressure check to make sure it was low on freon?Desired SettlementI am asking for a full refund of the $90.00 plus tax based on these reason.1. Replacing the freon in my car did not fix the problem that [redacted] told me it was. 2. [redacted] "asuumed" it was the freon without doing a pressure check or anything.3. I have given ample time for Swift Auto/[redacted] to work with a solution with me. 4. [redacted] even said he would refund my money in front of his secretary he did not do what he said he was going to do.5. I trusted this place of business as I hired them to do a service that I was told my car needed and would fix the problem. The service I paid for did not fix the problem.
