We as a company apologize for not having the best customer service for our client. As of today Oct. 12, 2015 the refund check has been issued.

Review: Swift Cleaners ruined an expensive cotton jacket when they "dry cleaned" it. When I dropped off the jacket there was not damage, when I picked it up there was a permanent white line along the front. They refused to make me whole, and refused even to give me a refund on the dry cleaning. I also discovered when I picked up the jacket, that they had altered the sleeve to get inside the lining to inspect the damage (without my permission),Desired Settlement: (1) $150 - the value of the jacket (originally cost $249)

(2) $30 - the cost of the dry cleaning and hassles associated with rectifying this situation..

**. [redacted] dropped her Linen Brown Jacket to be cleaned on 8/12/2013 with other clothes and pick up few days later. Cleaning cost of this jacket was $6.95 plus tax.

When she dropped up her jacket, I explained the company policy regarding removing of an existing spots. We will do everything possible to removed the stains but, it might not come out that we are not responsible for a permanent stains. She brought it back and complained that there appeared a white line in front of the jacket. At that time, the jacket was re-cleaned at no extra cost. She was not still satisfied with her jacket and brought it back for a second time. We cleaned it again but this spot is permanently in the jacket. The spot is in the jacket and line is caused from using of deodorant and it ran down the front of the jacket with her sweat. I decided to open the jacket at the seam to see what is causing this problem because she gave me a permission to do anything possible to remove this white line. The reason I opened the jacket at the seam is that factory makes the clothes with seams. And tailor like myself to be able open at the seam and put it back the way it is. I did not alter the jacket anyway except opened it to find a problem and sewed it back to its original place.

By opening at the seam, I was able to find the cause of this white line. When making a jacket from factory, the fabric tape is used. This particular jacket had wider and thicker fabric tape than other jackets I have seen in the past. With her usage of deoderant and her sweat has caused this white line on the fabric tape to be soaked and showed when it was cleaned. When it is dried, it tends to disappear.

I did everything to satisfy this customer trying to get rid of the white line in her jacket but, I can not remove permanent spot or damage.

Other incident with her, one day she has brought a bag to be sewed and I fixed it for her. When she came to pick it up, she did not pay for it and just said thank you and left so fast that I didn't have a time to talk to her about the cost. The cost to fix the bag is $20.00 that she has not paid yet.

I feel as she is taking advantage over me being courteous with her. She had mentioned to me that how I could be smiling all the time.
