I retained S Remodeling to repair several sections of my driveway and sidewalk. The price quoted was $1,880. He has been paid in full. The areas of repair have either washed off or has chipped up, due to the product or installation. After numerous voice messages and text messages to both Mr. S and his office manager, nothing has been resolved. A lot of promises to come over and fix the issues, but also a lot of excuses why he could not make it. That is only if I get a returned call or text message. Usually it is a no show.
This has been going on since October 2019. I have just recently contracted with another firm to repair my driveway. They were out last week and did a great job. It cost me extra, because they had to undo what Mr. S had done previous. I am looking for a full refund.
I retained Swift Remodeling to replace 3 broken windows in our residence. The price quoted was $860 each. I decided to replace one window and payment was requested in advance. Unfortunately I did that. As I thought about it I decided to obtain a competitive bid from Glass Doctor in Jacksonville. Their bid was approximately $1,100 for 3 large windows and one small one. I then cancelled the transaction with Swift and asked for a refund. If there was an expense for his trouble I told him I would deduct $100. After several E mails , and a promise of refund, no monies were received. Now they are not answering my e mails. I am out $860 and NO services were rendered. In my mind he stole the $860 was stolen and I expect a refund.

Swift Remodeling LLC. I called Mr.Swift he showed up on time neatly dress. I told him what we wanted. He designed it just like we wanted. 2 days later lumber got delivered and Mr.Swift went to work. We have grandkids so keeping a clean work area was very important and he done just that and delivered a beautiful Sunroom. Thank you Mr. swift. Would reccomend and use again.

Mr. Swift took my money and never completed the project. Has not responded or reached out. He cut corners and built an unstable porch that we are now having to take apart and pay someone new to fix.
The homeowner agreed and signed our initial estimate ($4,000) on a deck (Feb. 2019) stating that a 50% deposit ($2,000) is required to get scheduled to begin their deck project. We agreed to start when they paid us $1,700 of that deposit a few days after signing the estimate. We started building and the homeowner started adding on more special requests and work. The single floor deck turned into a double decker. The homeowner made another payment ($1,200) on their deck project at the end of May 2019. We have built most of the deck when we ran into scheduling problems. The homeowner and our company have corresponded through the initial site that referred us, text and email several times over the last couple of months and we could not match up schedules. The rest of the lumber for their project, valued at $1200, is sitting on the side of the homeowner’s house. Their current balance still due upon completion is $1,100. Their deck is currently not complete. The railing may seem unstable because it is not finished. The brads are temporary until the screws are set. Deck screws go into deck boards, not joists. We truly apologize we kept missing each other. We will gladly finish the deck or agree to all parties being released from obligation with us leaving the lumber at their house.

I am rejecting this response because:
The scheduling issues were not on my end. Mr. Swift would say he is coming and not show up for weeks at a time. I have saved every receipt and every message exchanged between Mr. Swift and I and it will clearly show that I voiced my concern several times about him not showing up. The double deck was Mr. Swifts idea so that it would fit around the pool correctly. Anytime Mr. Swift asked for money we payed him exactly what he asked for but when it came down to finishing the deck it was excuse after excuse. At the end of the day we were left with an unstable unfinished porch and before making this complaint our last conversation was him saying it was to hot to work. Weeks later he randomly messages if he can come on a Saturday to finish the porch. By that time we had three companies come out and look at the porch informing us that it was not to code and it was not safe. We are currently paying someone new to fix what was done and make it complete and safe and we feel that we should be returned some of the money we paid him because of the how he left the porch and how he disappeared. We have pictures of all the unfinished parts and we just want our money back for what he did not do correctly or finish. This includes a 500 dollar 30 foot add on that was left with no rails or floor boards.
