Review: On 12/21/15, I called [redacted]'s because I had the protection warranty from when I bought the dryer in 2013. They gave me Swift Services contact information in [redacted]. I called Swift Services and spoke with the [redacted]. On 12/22/15, one of their technicians, [redacted], came and checked the dryer and said it needed a new thermostat and that it would take four working days to arrive, coming from [redacted]. This was the week of Christmas! On 12/28/15, I called [redacted] to check on the status of the part. She had not checked with [redacted] at this point. On 12/30/15, I called back and [redacted] said [redacted] "could not find the package." On 12/31/15 another technician, [redacted], replaced only the thermostat and left. However, this meager attempt and service did not solve the problem. With a family and grandchildren, my wife had to run around during the holidays to find places to wash our clothes causing unnecessary stress. On 1/14/16, I spoke with [redacted] again to which she did not help. I then spoke with [redacted], and on 1/7/16, [redacted] came back and said the thermostat was bad and said it would take another three working days to arrive! On 1/11/16 I spoke with [redacted] once again and she was very unprofessional and never called me back. I had to drive to [redacted]'s and spoke with [redacted] the [redacted] then al[redacted]d us to go with [redacted] for the repair. Within only one hour on 1/13/16, [redacted] repaired 3 problems: thermostat, timer, door switch. Swift Services only found 1 problem, and it was a faulty part at that. The unprofessional, rude attitude [redacted] displayed on top of the lack of knowledge on the technicians' part is completely unacceptable. This was around Christmas and the new year and put an enormous burden on my family.Desired Settlement: Because of the unforeseen burden [redacted] and Swift Services put on my family with their lack of customer service, lack of repair and faulty part, it took a total of 24 days for my dryer to be replaced and start working again. This is not custom for this line of work. I demand to be refunded and reimbursed for the excessive gas and costs to use other laundry services in the amount of $200 from Swift Services. Thank you.

I am truly sorry it took a long time to repair your dryer. In a sense we feel like we helped [redacted] appliance repair your unit by replacing t-sta 2 times. I'll explain on the diagram power goes from timer to t-stat to heating element or valve. There's no way to test timer so if the t-stat shows bad we replace it if it keeps happening then the timer is the issue so by us replacing it twice [redacted] did the right thing by replacing the timer. It could have been the other way around if [redacted] was dispatched first. We apologize for the delay during the holidays we are extremely busy and takes a while to return to customers.
