My experience with Swim World has been both personal and professional My husband was in the business of aluminum fencing Most of his work was done around swimming pools I used to go to work with him and have a good deal of experience with different pool companies Homeowners often complained about incomplete projects or failure to complete their pools by the approximate date promised The only pool company that I never heard a single complaint about is Swim World in Gallatin The owner, Jay T***, employs teams of skilled workers, who treat homeowners with courtesy and respect Swim World pools are not only beautiful, but also customized to each client's wishes They follow through as projected, down to the final clean up and grading Most important, Jay T*** is one of the most honorable men I know He is conscientious, keenly intelligent, highly skilled, creative, and has many years of experience I would not trust anyone else to design and install my pool

Business owner 'ordered' the pool prior to our final plan approval and then kept a portion of our deposit for his 'troubles'
My husband contacted Swim World in September We had never had a pool before and thought we wanted a fiberglass pool vsa swim liner or Gunite pool based on our limited knowledge We went to the design center and met with ***, the sales repAfter a couple of meetings we decided on a specific fiberglasss pool and a tanning ledge We were then given a very simplified grossly itemized contract to sign This contract had a math error that we pointed out which they immediately corrected(this should have been red flag # They required a 1/down payment prior to providing a schematic of the design (this should have been red flag #2), so we promptly issued them a check As we were reviewing the contract, we noticed the quoted pool was listed under a different name than the name in the catalogAs it turns out, the pool they listed was NOT the same pool

We called this company numerous times over the course of three weeks to service the pool at our new home We never received a response and no one ever showed up When I complained, the owner said his system did not show any calls Yet he didn't even ask what phone number we used to call He then said he remembered one call and was waiting for us to call him back He also is ignoring my repeated requests to remove the unauthorized photo of my property that he is using to promote his business on Facebook
