Review: refused to accept return

On may 14,2013 I ordered swimming pool filters after getting the filter number from their rep. by telephone. The wrong filters arrived on 6/7/2013 and I notified the company that the filters were not correct and asked to return. They refused stating that they did not advise and their return policy so stated no returns. On examination of the email confirming my order it so stated. However, I assumed that their rep had told me the correct filter number so I had no concern until the wrong filters came. Their statement that they give no advise is not true since their rep gave me the number to order. Review: On July 1, 2013, I searched the internet for Pentair #770 White pool floats. In doing so, I came across the web page Swimming Pools Etc. They advertised a 20pack of these pool floats for about $25.00 plus shipping (total was $32.71). This is a really good price, so I ordered a quantity of 1 (20 pack). About 2 weeks later, a box arrived with only one pool float ball in it. I immediately emailed Swimming Pools Etc. to find out where the remaining 19 floats were and when would I receive them. The owner,[redacted] (somebody) said that the order was complete. I directed him back to his website that specifically showed the item as a 20 PK. and that several other vendors of this same product advertised these pool floats anywhere from $3.00 to $6.00 each. He nastily told me that I was trying to get something for nothing and, if I wanted, I could return the float for a refund. I did return the float, paying the return shipping. Upon arrival, [redacted], the owner, refused the return and any chance for my refund. After looking online at the list of complaints against this vendor, I realized that there was no hope for a refund. The many complaints show that this [redacted] person is "rude" and "dishonest" to.almost everyone he comes in contact with, and I am no exception. You can read all the complaints for see for yourself. This company should not be allowed to continue in business any longer. He is a liar, a cheat and extremely rude to talk with. Please do anything you can to stop Swimming Pools Etc. from hurting anyone else, as he has done so many times already. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

It clearly states that the customer bought ONE under the quantity..and the price was 22.00..there is no way these are purchased and shipped for a dollar each. Customer is upset because it did say white 20 pk. on site but under quantity on his receipt it clearly says 1. We are not going to give a refund on an order that was 22.00 plus 8.95 processing/shipping for this customer.

Seller clearly admits that the site advertised a 20 Pack of pool floats and I ordered one (1) 20 pack. Yes, the price was great, but how would I know that he just might want to get rid of this item and turn it into cash. The seller shipped a total quantity of one (1) float only. When I contacted the seller he told me that he would not honor the site advertised price. Other sites advertised these floats for $4-6 dollars each, nothing remotely close to $22.00 each. No other site advertised these floats for any more than that. He did say that he would accept a return of the one float and credit my account. I returned the float in the original box and the seller refused the return shipment. He lied to me on more than one occasion and is not to be trusted. I am not the only one who has had a problem with this seller. Just check him out on the web and you will see the lineup of complaints. Good luck!

On customer receipt it clearly shows he purchased ONE, not twenty. We will not be making any adjustments for this customer, no one sells 20 of these for 22.00. Another customer wanting something for free.

Review: Ordered a pool liner on 5/28/2014 and paid extra to get it quicker (silver service), which should have been 4 business days tops.Website says order info should appear within 24-48 hours. As of 6/7/2014, there is no order record on their website. I have a receipt with my order number. Emailed and called their customer service several times with no response what-so-ever.This is a very shady and "fly by night" company I believe. I wish I would have looked them up on rip off report before placing an order. They need to be stopped! Review: The product received was different then that displayed on the website. The company refused to take the unit back.

looking for a pump motor to match not only the performance my current unit but size also. searching many websites I finally found what I thought was a match and purchased it on 4 June 2013 Order Number: XXXXXX for $195.00 by credit card. When I received it, it was obvious it was a different size than advertised but the specifications were the same(HP, RPMs etc). I tried to contact them via phone and got a recorded message that no one would reply to any message I left and there was no person for contact. The only method was email. I sent an email asking for return information and instructions and got a reply that stated that because of a few 'bad apples' trying to exchange old motors they would no longer take returns. The receipt stated a 30 day return policy, close to 3 weeks had elapsed since the purchase date by this point. I shipped the unit back via FEDEX, which was their policy on their website to the 'shipped from' address. Several other emails were exchanged and I told them it was shipped back and expected my account to be credited. I received no reasonable explanation as to why they would not accept their new and unused motor. They refused the shipment. Desired Settlement: I return the motor and they return my money.

We track their ip address and that he did in fact agree to no returns of this motor, and we shipped him the correct motor. We do answer emails daily and wish that customers email us so there is no problems with what is being said, this way it is all in writing.
