Dear *** ***,
Perhaps you have sent this to *** ***However, I don't see her listed as a recipient of this e-mailIf you would like I can forward to herSir, I respectfully disagree with your assessment of how we have arrived at this impasseI specifically recall asking for a quote for repairs - which I receivedI specifically recall a phone call from Phi advising me of your repair availability as well as my instructions to take no further action until I called back with a work authorizationI never called back because I did not have approval from my insurerAs I stated in my Revdex.com complaint I was quite shocked when I came home to find my playhouse repairedMy Mother-in-Law (whom I referenced in the complaint - not my wife or maid) was asked to sign a paper as your employees were leaving - not before any work was startedUltimately, I received no insurance proceeds but rather a $invoice for a structure that I wouldn't have chosen to repairI thought my offer to be not unreasonableI'm sorry that you find it necessary to terminate our business relationship but if that's your desire than I will inform the Revdex.com that this case may be closed*** ***

This email is in response to a complaint that you received from one of our customers ** *** ID# *** requested that we do the repairs on his Swingset and we left him a message stating when it will be done but we realize *** never called back to confirm the repair date so we just did it never realizing that it would be a problem since he wanted it done, and either his wife or a maid signed off on the projectAt this time ***’s swing set is restored to its original condition and his offer of paying only half of the repair cost was such an insult that I would rather not do business with the ***’swe had even offered to settle at a loss of $which was unacceptable to the customer, at this time we not want any payment from *** but we will remove his name from our customer base so that they will not be able to receive free warranty work in the future and it will be hard for them to sell their swing set should they ever move or wish to relocateCynthia, we will need a confirmation from the Revdex.com that this is resolved with the Revdex.com, otherwise we will send this to collections and have it applied to ***’s credit ratingSincerely
Amos G***

Review: Due to hail damage on my kid's swingset/playhouse I contacted the business where I purchased it to inquire about repairs. After several phone calls with the business, [redacted], I received a phone call from Phie at Swing Kingdom informing me that they would be performing the repairs to my play house. I was told that the first repair date available would be in early October. I advised Phie that my repairs were part of an insurance claim and I was waiting for approval before I would authorize any work. The conversation ended with me stating that I would call to schedule when I received a response from my insurance carrier.Imagine my surprise when I came home one day to find my play house repaired! My mother-in-law, who lives with me, came home as the workers were loading up their equipment in preparation to leave. They asked her to sign a form to prove they were there and had completed the work. This occurred at approximately 1:30 in the afternoon. I immediately called Swing Kingdom who in turn referred me to [redacted]. I spoke with Eli at [redacted]'s and he informed me that there must have been a miscommunication. I stated that I had no insurance settlement and wouldn't have repaired the playhouse without the insurance money. We agreed I would talk to my insurer and call back ASAP.Ultimately, I received no insurance proceeds but offered to pay half of the $495 invoice for the repairs even though I NEVER authorized ANY repairs. I thought this was fair all things considered. Several days later I received a bill for $395 - $100 off the original price. I called both [redacted] and Swing Kingdom but was told that was all they could do for the bill.At no time did I ever give a written or verbal approval to authorize repairs but they expect to get paid? Isn't this why they now regulate contractors in PA?Desired Settlement: I still stand by my original offer to pay half of the original invoice. Though I didn't authorize the work my structure was repaired. It seems fair to me that we split the cost. I am willing to pay $247.50.
