Swish Painting

Review: [redacted], the owner of Swish Painting, took the job of putting up crown molding in my two bedrooms and kitchen. Before this job, [redacted] completed a painting job and removal of a popcorn ceiling for me. While he did a good job the first time around, he totally failed putting up the crown molding. He arrived at my apartment at 8:20 am and left around 12:00 pm. When he left, he told me that he will be back in a little while, but he never showed up again. He put up one piece of molding, which looks terrible. In addition, he did such a poor job putting up the piece of molding, he somehow created a large crack that spans most of the wall. While the crack looks like it's just the paint, it does not look appealing. Keep in mind, this is a wall he just painted a couple of weeks before. I tried reaching [redacted] two and half hours after he left, but my call went straight to a busy signal. Once I tried from a different number, a number he does not have of mine, it rang and then went to his voice mail. I sent an email informing [redacted] that if he comes back and repairs the wall he damaged, all would be forgiven. After giving him more than a day to reply, I feel that it is time to place a formal complaint against him.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted] to reimburse me the money it will cost me to have the wall fixed.
