Her reservation was made for people but she showed up to the hotel with people in total.We informed [redacted] about the extra person fee at the time of check in and was asked to contact [redacted] to validate her statement that she booked for peopleOn her check out date, she failed to provide her confirmation from [redacted] stating that she booked the reservation for people.She signed the registration card stating our extra person fee policy and the invoice for the extra person charges.I have attached the documents that we sent to our merchant services because we received a chargeback from the guestThe case was closed in our favor as we hold all the accurate information of the reservation.Best Regards,? reservation, I did confirmed that your booking was made through Travelocity for people as you mentionedI have discussed your case with our reservations agent ***There seems to have been a miscommunication but our agent is fully aware of our hotel standards and procedures when booking a reservation for more than people. In addition, I have reviewed both our website and Travelocity’s site but the policies clearly states that our rooms can accommodate up to peopleI have attached the info at the end of the emailNonetheless, I was under the impression that a satisfactory resolution was reached when I explained our fire safety regulations and the second room was given a substantial discounted rate. Having mentioned the above, I do not want you to leave The Avalon Hotel having had a negative experience, in the interest of guest services please allow us this opportunity to show you that we are truly committed to superior service and accept our offer of 20% discounted rate for a future stay with upgraded accommodations based on our availability to be used within a year period.
