Review: I visited the resort with a group of 26 guests, including myself. I requested some additional food items for my group and have been unfairly charged. I also did not receive a credit for the banquet items I did not order for my group.1. I requested nut butters at a breakfast that was served on 2 occasions, in very small white salad bowls. These bowls did not even hold even a jar full of nut butter. The banquet manager charged me $100.00. I would have happily bought my own peanut butter, but believed that the resort would treat me fairly.2. I requested salads for my group, 4 family style bowls, served on 3 occasions. I was quoted $6 per person extra for these salads. To my understanding, this was a one time additional charge per person for my group. These salads were in a quart sized bowl and I would have happily brought my own salads. Again, I feel very taken advantage of by this action. When I spoke with the banquet manager, I stated to here that I was willing to pay the $156.00 for the additional salads to be served. To be charged $460.00 for salad and NOT be informed prior is just wrong.3. I requested a totally vegetarian menu for my group. On 2 occasions we were served a brunch including eggs benedict, served with ham. The banquet group made no effort to change the brunch item and even after we reminded them of this, the banquet crew served the same eggs benedict on a second occasion. I did not order this on my banquet order and I should be credited. I did not receive any credit.Overall, I feel that it this a very unfair business practice to charge a group without being totally clear about the exact amount you plan to charge your guest. If I was properly informed I would have not taken these products and services. I am unsure why I was charged a 20% service charge in the amount of $113.60. I was also told that my estimate of charges for my group included all service charges and taxes, and I am also being charged an additional 51.12 in tax.Desired Settlement: I paid my account in full upon departure from the resort. The banquet manager should have made sure that my account was in order prior to my departure. One week later, I received an email showing an amount due to the resort of $536.43, including a 20% service charge along with 7.5% tax on this additional amount. When leaving the resort, I left a cash credit of $197. I would like the resort to take this as final payment and close my account paid in full.

Review: I stood at the Sycamore Springs Resort over Memorial Weekend May 24th - 26th. On Sunday night of my stay, we were celebrating my friend's bridal shower in the room we booked. We received a call from the Front desk around 10pm that we were being too noisy. We received another call around 10:30pm that they had called the Sheriff's department to escort us off the property, by this time however, we had already decreased the noise level and when the Sheriff's arrived they informed the front desk that we were being compliant. The next day during checkout, I was given a receipt for my stay which totaled to $1025.01 which I signed as well and returned to them. Later in the week, I noticed in my account that they charged me a total of $1476.21 which I had not authorized. When I called the resort to inquire of the additional charge, they told me they charged for an extra night's stay because they had to refund the party that stood in the room above us because they could not sleep all night. This is completely biased as we had stopped making noise once the Sheriff's had arrived and that was around 11pm. I have never heard of a hotel charging for a "noise fee." I explained to them that they did not include this in my original receipt that I signed and they said that I had to dispute the charge with my bank. I asked them to send me a copy of their policy that's states they can charge a "noise fee." They sent me a copy of their policy and the only things that are mentioned where they can charge you additional fees are for violating there rules on smoking and bringing pets.Desired Settlement: I wish to be refunded the additional $451.20 that was charged to my account.
