Sycamore Ridge Apartments

Review: Last month we experienced a leak from our water heater. My sons mattress was on the floor and had to be thrown away due to water damage and mildew. We made management aware of this and they fixed the water heater and pulled back the carpet to, what we were told,suck up the water and treat the mildew that was growing underneath. They had the fan on it for only one day and pulled e carpet back without us seeing if it was properly treated. We were told that everything was taken care of. It was not. I had moved my daughters mattress to where my sons used to be,so that she was away from the window,for safety. A few days ago the kids saw a spider so I lifted up the mattress to find that the other mattress was mildewed and wet,as well as the carpet. Management refuses to replace our mattress(that is now 2 we have to buy) and they have done nothing about the remaining water. They are very rude. Our 6 month lease is up next month and they have already raised our rent. They gave us a notice to take down our patio lights which breaks their policy,yet they won't compensate for our loss of mattresses and hazard to our children's health.Desired Settlement: I would like our mattresses to be replaced,new carpet in the children's room, and our deposit back should we decide to move out. Thank you
