I found out my entire house was knob and tube after a big plumbing leak in January '16. I had to tear down my entire kitchen ceiling (upstairs bathroom) to fix the plumbing. I saw all the wiring but didn't address it immediately. Finally got a few quotes for knob and tube rewiring and Sykes was reasonably priced but what set them apart for me was that they said it would only take about 3 or 4 days as opposed to 2 weeks or more from other electricians. I also appreciated that they charge by the job and not 'per piece' to keep things simple. True to their word they were done in 4 days and Glen arranged to have my kitchen ceiling drywalled and they put in new potlights to seal the deal. I couldn't be happier with the service and final result.

All our furniture stayed in place and they covered everything and thus kept it clean. Except for the new switches, lights and smoke detectors one would never know that any work had been done in the house. Also installed new electrical panel and outside stack. Great gentlemen to work with and enjoyed having them in the house.
