Your rental property's furnace was diagnosed over two weeks ago by our North American Technician Excellence (NATE) with a failed inducer motorYou were quoted the price over the phone for the repair that night which you approvedOur tech arrived next morning let in by your tenant (with no waiting
or extra charges over what you were quoted the night before) with the replacement motorIt was degrees when he arrived at the house with the temperature already up to when the technician left the homeHe called you and you paid him with a credit cardThe old motor was left there (If we were scamming you, we wouldn't left the old motor there.) You called again that night, (the furnace wasn't out for days like you claim) stating it wasn't working againYou were given the options of evening service call of $to be discounted for $for him to come out that night, or no charge the next morningYou got upset and after some disparaging remarks to the tech on call, hung up the phoneI called you the next morning to see if our service was still needed and you said your regular maintenance man whom you normally use who couldn't come out the first time came out and found the drain plugged and then told you the motor wasn't badI asked you for the phone number for your maintenance man, which you reluctantly gave me and told you after I talk with him would get back with you with what we could doYou were not yelled at by me at anytime, not even for a second much less the ridiculous claim of minutesI talked to your maintenance man and his comment was to me that he didn't know it was Burkhardt Heating who was out there or he would never had made the comment about the motorHe also said he charged you $100, not the $you now claimHe apologized to me for the remarks made about us to youI called you back and said the two issues were unrelated, with the motor failure and the plugged drain, which occurred sometime during the day several hours after our repairEven though I had no obligation to do so, offered you a certificate (valued at $129) to have maintenance done on this property or any of your others, which you acceptedI understand your frustration of dealing with furnace repairs, and with believing your maintenance man who was out of line on making a accusationThe inducer motor was not working when our technician first arrivedThe motor was and is bad, no matter if you claim you got it running now for a short time over weeks laterI'm sorry for your experience of a second no heat which was caused solely because of lack of maintenance. Thus, no refund for the replacement of the failed inducer motor is warranted

lThis complaint is a total made up fabricationHe is mad because his wife approved a repair we recommended then after it was done we were then notified they had a home warranty which wouldn't cover our repair and we wouldn't give him his money backEven though he claimed this wasn't about the
money, he tried to have his credit card company reverse chargesThat attempt failedThe lengths this person has gone to try to slander our NATE certified technicians who between them have over years experience is both mind boggling and laughableNever underestimate what some people will say and do when they cannot admit their own mistake of something like approving repairs when they already have a home warranty and must go thru them for approvals first

Need refund for after hours charge and laborI should have been only charged for 20min of labor

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This business is completely lying about the temperature of the houseWe have pictures of everything even the thermostatWe even put up the pictures on their reviews on Facebook and they replied saying these pictures are taken today (which is a complete lie) and then blocked us. The job that his technician did was the one that only worked for a short timeI did not have them go back and fix it because #His technician was absolutely rude on the phone and incompetent and sounded drunk or under the influence of somethingHe said he was at the bucks game and could come after and I did not want to waitEspecially since I suspected the motor in fact was not the problem since the motor stopped working shortly after installation. My regular maintenace repair man came that night and said he could hear water in the motorHe said there was a blocked line and he drained it and fixed it within minutesThe furnace has been working ever since.
Obviously, this company did not fix the furnace and left us without heat for two daysWhether or not the motor was shot (which it isn’t because it is working now) the job that I paid for was not doneI will not have an incompetent and possibly drunk technician come to the house at a late hourAnd can someone please explain to me why he brought his young son to the initial job at 1130pm??? If my kids came to work with me I’d be distracted and make mistakes too. When I talked to *** the next day he was extremely rude and was yelling at me and raising his voice to a level that I was very uncomfortable withI did not raise my voice once to himHe would not even hear me outI was never reluctant to give him my maintenance mans info but he was shouting for a very long time that I could not even get a word in. One of the things he told me was that I should have just waited til morning for them to come out for free, and that he had other customers waiting til morning and my tenants wouldn’t have died if I waitedThis shows me that this man has absolutely no regard for people. They at can collect their motor, my old one is working fineI would like a full refund of everything I paid.

Customer had inducer motor replaced on 12/31/15. Then called 3/18/having no heat on her furnace. She was quoted for the service call plus repairs if unrelated to the earlier work and was told there would be no charge if the exact same component failed. Appointment was
scheduled for later in the morning. Within minutes after scheduling the appointment, she called back, cancelled the appointment then cursed the dispatcher with repeated "F-bombs" then hung up the phone

Our experience and this review is neither fabricated, nor about the money.  We also do not find alteration of previously signed invoices or being billed undue amounts based on our address to be laughable as the business owner describes it.  The dispute with the credit card company was to force Burkhardt to provide a defense for the fraudulent charges, which they had not done in my direct dialogue with the owner, and for which I knew there would be none.  This dispute produced the altered and forged invoices submitted by Burkhardt.  The before and after invoices leave no question about this matter.  They have already been submitted to the Revdex.com.  I have also submitted them to the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services and the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (for the 28% sales tax we were charged).  They have further been shared with the three general contractors who have requested them via the email address I provided elsewhere and I will continue sharing them with anybody else who requests them.  Unfortunately, the comment regarding our ability to pay unapproved and unearned charges due to our million-dollar house was verbal and I will just have to stand by my word that it was made.  You will see that the complaint filed with the Revdex.com requested NO additional compensation from this company.  My intent is only to share our experience with others so that they can make a better decision than we did.  I only wish I had taken the time to read some of the other shocking reviews about this company and its owner online before calling them.  Hopefully others have a chance to read this.  I will leave it up to the smart buyers in Wisconsin to decide whether they want to do business with this company and its unethical owner.
