Review: my son and I bought a vehicle from symdon,s in feb. of 2014, and weve had nothing but trouble with it beginning the very next month following the purchase. we,ve paid between $5000 and $6000 dollars in 14 months for repairs, we strenuously believe this falls under the lemon law. we did purchase extended warranty on this vehicle for a estimated cost of an additional $2300 onto the loan. which we are also filing complaints on that insurance company for non repayment of repairs, but that is a separate issue except we believe the salesman should have the ability to explain the policy before anyone purchases that extended warranty. we purchased that policy before receiving the policy,s contents, so should we have asked to read the policy first? yes, should the sales person be qualified to sell and establish knowledge of the policy prior to selling it to customers? yes. so, we believe we were sold a lemon car and we believe we should have had the extended warranty profeesionally explained to us by a licensed insurance sales person. we need some kind of repayment back to us for all the trouble this has caused.Desired Settlement: we believe a favorably settlement payment should be sent back to us for we cannot afford between $5000 and $ 6000 dollars worth of repairs in a 14 month period, including signing a loan for more than $15,000 dollars including the extended warranty. we came to Wisconsin and spent a lot of money that day, we even bought fuel and had lunch in Madison, it was a great day in that state until all this trouble started, we would be extremely grateful for help in this matter.

Customer purchase a 2008 jeep compass from symdon motors inc on Feb 8 2014. Customer was told that the Jeep was being sold as is because it was out of factory warranty. The jeep had 72599 for miles. When customer signed the paperwork, customer was offered a vehicle service contract 36/36000 miles standard coverage from date of contract. [redacted] told the customer that the warranty covered power train (including engine and transmission) along with addition items. Customers were giving a broshur and a copy of their warranty at time of delivery. The father had told his son that he thought it would be a good idea to have additional coverage.
