Dear [redacted],Thank you for your assistance in this matter. The response to my Revdex.com complaint by Seamus R[redacted] is a fabrication.I am not a difficult person at all. I am easy going, considerate and pride myself on my relationships socially and in business. My relationships with those currently involved in my remodel-my current contractor (whom I had a great lunch with socially recently), plumbers, electrician, and super are all great. I have never been aggressive toward anyone, nor would I be. I was never disruptive in any way. My dealings with [redacted] were about certain wood planks looking damaged. Their representative came to the job site to evaluate them, agreed, and replaced the stock that was not right-certainly not a conflict. Never had a conflict with Seamus' tilers. They in fact have not done any work. Never, ever did I refuse the use of re a/c-the entire idea is a complete lie.The facts (emails/texts) do not corroborate anything that Seamus stated in his response. I have texts and emails that show no animus on my part, and certainly no rude or aggressive behavior. In fact, as late as June [redacted]., I have a text that Seamus wrote in response to my news that [redacted] was replacing some of the damaged flooring.."this is great" with an emoticon of two beer mugs clanking. That is not a text that would be sent by him if I were anything but appropriate, friendly, and considerate. As far as aggressive behavior, it was Seamus who exhibited that, not me. He texted me later on the [redacted] to apologize for his behavior in an earlier text. To quote his text: "I blew a fuse the other day small bit of pressure. I apologize" . "All good?" To which I responded: Thnx for that. Was going to speak with you about it tmrow. Yeah-I'm all good now". He responded "Thank you". I texted: "Sure. See u tmrow". I have kept all texts and emails, so the facts speak for themselves. The situation devolved into acrimony solely on Seamus' part when I asked in an email on 6/** for a breakdown on what an extra charge of $1,250.00 from his tilers was for. He responded on 6/** with the breakdown. I emailed him back the same day thanking him for the email. I declined to accept the $600.00 charge for a marble shower nook as I had found one for much less, and I declined the tiling finishing strips for $100.00 as I could get them at [redacted] for $18.00. I stated that the only item on the breakdown I needed to consider was the epoxy grout for $550.00, and stated that I would let him know the next day. I signed off with "hope you had a relaxing weekend". Again, certainly not aggressive behavior on my part. What I got back in a return email was an abusive, unprofessional, rambling, and inappropriate email. I have a full copy of the email available. His anger that I would buy something cheaper either in a store or online was inappropriate.  He stated in his email: "If I spent a lot more time getting things via computer SURE I'd get [redacted] cheeper (sic) as well but you know what I'd get nothing done on the ground. You pay for convenience. You want to be the builder fine. Stay on site and supervise". His last line was "there is not room in the apt for both of us".As you can see, his anger at my wanting to watch unnecessary expenses is ridiculous for any professional. I never asked him to go online nor do any research to get items at a lower cost. I did not ask for convenience when it came to the things his tilers itemized. I was happy to get those items on my own and never complained about anything related to it. Once I received his email stating that there is not room in the apt for both of us, I knew I could no longer trust him to work with him, and therefore had to let him go. I sent him an email explaining why, and I respectfully requested a fair reimbursement. I also tried to contact him by telephone and left a very nice voicemail asking him to call me to work out a fair arrangement for the work done to date in regards to the 1/2 of the full amount of the proposal that was paid (the 1/2 fee came to $10,800.00). Seamus has also kept the wood planks that he took offsite and promised to return (25 sq ft/box @ $8.49/sq ft) and still has not done so. He has refused any reimbursement. His actions and emails/texts speak for themselves. I respectfully ask for reimbursement of $7,000.00, and $2,000.00 for the wood flooring that was kept.Thank you for listening.Sincerely,[redacted]

[Your Answer Here]
The business owner continues to make false statements regarding my complaint. The facts are that he had to be fired due to not showing up for work as scheduled, and more importantly sending belligerent texts and emails. He also decided that it was acceptable to keep flooring that I purchased and which I have the receipt for, and which he clearly stated in an email that he would store for me and return it when I wanted it. He was paid $10,800.00, and has approximately $1,800.00 worth of my flooring. He only did a small portion of the work on his proposal. Keeping the entire sum of the 1/2 payment of the total proposal and keeping my flooring is not acceptable. I have tried to negotiate with him, but to no avail.I have nothing against the man nor do I wish to tie up his time in a legal process. But, I feel that I have been wronged and need to address that.I am ready to negotiate with him still. If he really wanted to resolve the matter, he would do so.  The complaint stands.I have all texts and emails to corroborate my complaint.Thank you,[redacted]
