The company marketed and labelled the product under their own name, Synergistic Nutrition. They are not being honest by saying that they have no responsibility to accommodate their customers as they labelled it under their name and were the ones to write the false nutritional information. I feel violated by this company who made false claims to me, claiming that the product had been lab verified and refused to give me and many other people reimbursement for selling me a product that was low in protein and high in sugar. They told me the product
I am going to look into taking legal action with other defrauded customers and I hold both the manufacturer and the distributor responsible. However, Synergistic Nutrition isn't only the distributor, they are actually the people who market and brand the product. The product is listed as their own brand name and just because they acquired the product from a bad source, doesn't mean they are not responsible for advertising, promoting and marketing the product as their own. They should have done their own independent laboratory tests to verify the nutritional information that they were promoting to their customers. They claimed to be a reputable company, but are otherwise different. From a legal perspective, I think they are even more responsible than the manufacturer. It is like [redacted] not being responsible for faulty components in their car during a recall, but rather blaming the companies who manufactured the components, absolutely absurd! Synergistic Nutrition and anyone else apart of this scheme should have legal action taken against them and refund all the fake whey protein powder they have been selling all these years. I am quite sure they and their manufacturer were aware this protein product was a fake , but only could reveal it after a third party laboratory performed their own analysis of the product, exposing their fraudulent scheme.

Back in April, an unfortunate turn of events took place. We discovered that [redacted] was mislabeled. Rather than cover up this fact, for the sake of honesty, we immediately emailed all of our customers and placed disclaimers on the website. Synergistic Nutrition is a distributor of this...
product, not the manufacturer. We were in no way aware that this product was misrepresented. We understand that some customers may feel angry and deceived. We understand their pain because we, too, were deceived. The manufacturer provided us with a false certification of analysis for this product, and we were completely unaware that we were selling a misrepresented product.
Although no fraud or deception has occurred on our part, the manufacturer’s error has cost us quite a bit. We have issued many tens of thousands of dollars that should not have come out of our own pocket in an attempt to make things right with our customers. At this point, because we are a small business, we no longer have the financial means to process more refunds or exchanges. Since the manufacturer is refusing to refund us for the product, we do not have the finances to provide any more customer refunds. As a result, we are forced to send our dissatisfied customers directly to the manufacturer since he is the one responsible for this error.
