original completion date, due to multiple work day cancelations by the client due to personal issues and medical of the client. We also had times in the project where we were not allowed to do work in the home due to the same above issues. An example of this, Work dates were given to the client and approved by the client, to then be cancelled the morning of or the day prior so It made it very difficult to reschedule. The cabinet imperfections were noticed by the project manager in July but were not able to schedule a client meeting with the cabinet rep until the first week of September due to the clients work schedule. We continued with work and made the kitchen fully functional and passed final inspections on August 8th.
As for the resolution...dates have been proposed multiple times for the remaining 2 cabinet items to be completed and a date for the install of those parts but not approved by the client at this time. These parts were change orders that happened late in the project. All of the other items have been resolved.
In the end the kitchen is a beautiful space that required many scheduling changes and accommodations for the client. There were items that needed extra attention that we provided and made sure things were done correctly. Again all of the remaining items have been completed except the last 2 items which we are waiting on the cabinets parts and these are not only a client change towards the end of project but were also a backorder custom product . Custom cabinet parts are typically 8-10 weeks to fabricate and 1-2 weeks for delivery.
We are at this time waiting for a response from the client to schedule times to complete the work. We have made several attempts to complete the work
