Review: After having been a loyal customer for several years I cancelled my membership and have a signed receipt - Nevertheless Synery GCP continued to try and bill my account and would call me telling me that there was a balance due on the account. This has occured several times and my attempts to politely resolve this issue including speaking to the [redacted] who approved the cancellation, [redacted], have been met with nothing but nastiness on the part of the employees at Synergy GCP. It is my contention that this is harassment on the part of Synergy GCP and a borderline shakedown to get more money out of me.Desired Settlement: I would like some assurance that the attempts on the part of Synergy GCP to fraudulently bill my account and harass me for payment will cease.

Review: Cancelled my membership via certified letter to club and membership was never cancelled and went into collections. Received no help from employees of club and the manager I had spoken with initially was never to be found.Desired Settlement: Fix credit

Business instructed me to just pay the balance due and wouldn't help me any further. I can also prove that I moved to another area and had another gym membership for the time in question.

I received a notice in the mail from Performance Portfolio Management stating that I was sent to Collections from Synergy Fitness of Garden City Park in the amount of $300. Please see my comments below.

1. I canceled my Synergy membership in July 2015. I spoke with the manager multiple times in June 2015 to cancel. In addition, I sent a letter to the address provided instructing Synergy Fitness to cancel my membership.

2. I have proof of payment for August membership for a transaction went through to Synergy Fitness of Garden City Park on July **, 2015 for monthly membership. They have not charged my credit card since.

3. The last time I went to this gym was in July 2015.

4. Nobody from Synergy notified me (via call, email or mail) looking for money for the since I canceled 6 months ago. The first I am hearing of this is a letter from Collections in early January 2016.

These people are crooks and thieves. I do not recommend. You will cancel your membership & then 6 months later you will find yourself speaking with collections. Shame on them!

Review: I have been billed every month since June but I originally only paid for two weeks since I do not live in NY. If you check my account you will see that my last day was either June ** or [redacted] because I got married on the [redacted] and left NY the next day. I do not know how this happened but I want to know if I can get any money back since I can prove where I live and the last time I visited Synergy Fitness. I appreciate any help and if you can please email me a confirmation of my cancellation that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back on this mater.Desired Settlement: I would a refund of at least the last few months after June and to terminate my contract once and for all.
