Synergy Sports

Synergy advertised 2020 summer camp and continued to actively register campers for the summer months of June and July 2020. As the date for the start of camp approached, zero communication has been sent out to participants as of Thursday, 5/28/20 and camp starts Monday, 6/1/20. As a parent, I checked in with multiple other families in Columbia, MO who said they also had not heard anything and couldn’t get a call back. I have called and left voicemails, messaged on Facebook and sent emails for over the past month. No one has responded to me once. I heard rumors from another parent that Synergy would be closing and did not plan to reopen after COVID. Unfortunately, I have paid $1,472 dollars for both months of camp, close to $1,500 total. I was relying on camp from Synergy as it was advertised it was occurring still on their website and they were actively enrolling students. Now my $1,472 is tied up and I need it to pay for my new childcare arrangements that begin Monday 6/1/20 in order for me to return to work.
