To whom it may concern: I am responding to the complaint filed by Ms[redacted] There have been a few delays on this project from day one, that was due to no fault of my ownThe first delay, was due to Ms [redacted] not having all of the necessary documentation to obtain the permits, and (2) The city of Richmond was in the process of converting to a new system and was short-staffed during this processThis was explained to Ms [redacted] several times, and to compensate for that I have done extra work free of charge for her which included: tile work and additional demo work.After obtaining the permits, she entered into a stage of not being able to make concrete decisionsShe changes her mind constantly, which makes it extremely difficult for me to complete this projectI have tried on numerous occasions to explain to her that every time she makes changes, the project will be delayedI have completed tile work three times using the materials that she purchased, and each time she changed her mindI have completed framing to the interior of her home at least four times, yet she is still constantly changing her mindHer daily indecisiveness is causing serious delaysI have tried to handle this matter in a professional manner, but it is seems futile to reason with her.She has within the last few days made more changes that seems to be very unrealistic The city of Richmond has approved for the bathroom to be in a certain locationShe now wants to relocate the bathroom and I cannot legally do that without an amended permit to do soThat could take up to two weeks to obtainYesterday, she put the job on hold because she is under the assumption that the amount of space in the crawlspace is too narrowShe stated, "that the crawl space appears to be too small for a fat man to fit in." The city of Richmond has already approved the foundationShe has also unreasonably requested that I remove more soil from the crawlspace at my own expense, even though it has already passed inspection.I have yet to receive in writing from Ms [redacted] any correspondence regarding terminating this contractI was still in the process of completing this project until SHE put it on holdTherefore, I strongly feel that I am not to blame in this matterMy company has met all codes and specifications and we are prepared to move forward to the next stage of the project

I did not request that the bathroom location be moved MrG*** has caused most of the delay due to his failure to show up and when he does work it is for a couple of hours.The job was supposed to be completed in less than days MrG*** did not get the permit for 6-weeks It is months later and the project is not even close to being finished.I hired someone else to remove more dirt from the foundation The job is not on hold I think at this point it would be best to part ways but I would like a refund because I paid for more then the amount of work done I have also incurred expenses to the job taking so long (extra rent payments, etc)
