T & A Heating & Air Conditioning

Mr. Gilbert came to my home on several occasions to fix the heat pump he installed only one yr ago. He first put freon in and found out that it did not need freon to start with. The second time he came he tried to tell me it was nothing wrong and come to find out he bypassed a shut off switch, which in turn ended up burning up the compressor. He ordered a compressor said it would come in a couple of days. A week later and not one phone call to tell me that he was not coming or anything of that nature I finally called him and he told me he was going to come up on that following Wed. He came without calling to see if someone was home, installed the compressor. Then wanted to charge me for shipping on a compressor that he burned up by bypassing the switch. He also wanted to charge me for freon again. It was a total of 213.00. I was not going to pay for something that he caused. He voided my warranty by doing this. My heat pump is still not working. He will not return my calls and I am using electric heat which is going to be very expensive on my utility bill. I have been like this for more than three weeks now. He has an answering service to screen all of his calls. I would appreciate some advice, I am still making payments on my new heat pump. I am afraid no one else will honor the warranty now.
