I had my furnace replaced by TA Kaiser right at a year ago. My heat was not working properly one morning. I contacted them to have them come out. During this call they did not mention that I would be charged, and I did not expect to be since I am on the annual maitenance plan with them. About 30 minutes after my first call I called back because my heat came on. I spoke to a gentleman, and specifically said to him that my heater is now working, so I do not want someone to come out if I will be charged for them to come out. He did not mention one bit about being charged, and convinced me to have them come out. I believe that I will not be charged. The service man comes out and checks my furnace he says that a sensor was dirty. Then said I owed them $171.00. I then tell him that at no time when I was speaking with someone did they say I would be charged. I then asked that they contact me via phone to explain why I am being charged when they just installed this furnace a year ago. The service man that came to my house wrote it on the form, and gave me a copy. I never received a call, but did receive a bill in the mail. I then called a gentleman that I had been in contact with perviously because there customer service was horrible when replacing my Air Conditioner over the summer. I told him this exact story, and his response to me was that he did not see how this was a customer service issue.
