Review: My car was repossessed several days ago. When I first contacted the dealership to resolve the issue, I was told by [redacted] that I could collect he car for 785.00 which was the past due balance plus the repo fee. This was around 9/10/2013. When I again called the dealership to make arrangements to pick up my car, I was told that my car could not be picked up unless I was willing to pay it off, the balance in full. When I inquired as to why, I was told that since I had altered the tag, which was and had been known fact, that I could NOT pick up the car. This is not fair. To be told different stories, and be told one thing by one person and then another by another is simply not fair. WHILE I admit that I did alter the tag, the dealership knew of this all along, and it was NOT an issue until today 9/12/2013. Also, I was cursed at, and called a "welfare case" because I draw widows benefits. I was not even but one payment behind on the car. I have kids and I am widowed, and this is not the way to run a business!!! I should have been allowed to pick up my car, I gave them no problems when I turned it in to them, and was assured all along that I would get the vehicle back!!!! Why did they lie to me??Desired Settlement: For the dealership to work with me like they said they would and give me another chance, LIKE THEY said they would for the first time around!!!
