[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Robert knows very well what the delays were as outlined previously It is a shame he does business the way he does He is aware fully that even my neighbor gave him a job, I held up nothing! Any delays on my part were properly addressed in a very timely manner There was no week delay on my part, see all the supporting details On my part, hindsight is always better and I should have done a better background check before hiring him Court came up as his wife Dawn said I should find someone else after months of their incomplete work The bureau has the data and it is obvious that anyone in my position after everything would be frustrated The writing at the bottom of the contract was added by him or Dawn after signing the original and I have no such copy, the addended copy is as agreed Robert said nothing about me supplying shelving for the linen closet at all and this is news to me, I provided the materials in the addend he requested, door, tiles, grout, sealer, thin set, pump and he was paid in full.I had no agreement with him regarding his delays nor have I any idea what the "back charges" are as they seem fabricated at best I have explained and supplied the evidences.I will not be threatened or bullied by Robert He has a track record that precedes him that I unfortunately was not award of I owe him nothing and do not accept his threat of collections Regards, [redacted]

In response to *** complaint to Revdex.com.# ***FirstWe were NOT paid in full in October 2016.*** was advised to pick out and purchase her own fixturesShe paid me S 12,NOT $12,500.00Packages were received at the Post Office for ***- so Bobby offered to go pick them up for her, to
keep the job going, but the Post Office would not release the packages to BobbySo, *** had to get them on Saturday, days later.1st delayAs many people do, she ordered her fixtures from ***The only problem with that is, the fixture was from CHINA, of which has a different thread, besides missing parts to the shower unitAs a favor to ***, I tried to remedy the situation by contacting the manufacturer, but they did not respondI went to several plumbing supply stores, ** ***, tried to create an adaptor, but that did not work either*** ***, did recognize the part purchased by ***- but they also were not able to remedy the problem(Due to the different threading)week delayThings may be cheaper to purchase on ***, but in the long run when it comes to projects like this, it is better to deal with a local supplier.2nd delay: *** purchased a tub filler from ***, and was supposed to order a wall mount, but instead ordered a deck mount, so it was returned and re-orderedI had to wait weeks for the first deliveryThen it was returnedStill waiting for Tub filler to come from *** finally purchased one from *** ***.3rd delay: Tiles- waiting several weeks for *** to finally pick out the tiles, and then ran short on tiles(4) more tiles were needed for the shower waorder for the glass enclosure to be installed, more days pass- and I mention to a friend of hers doing work there as well, that I needed these tiles- then she went to get them.I created a linen closet, and bathroom enclosure for ***She supplies materials, NO CHARGE for LABOR*** did purchase the bi-fold door, but No shelves for the linen closet. How can she charge me for work that I was doing for FREEThats insane!Vanity- The layout that *** chose for the bathroom, would not accomidate the vanity with (2) sinks, so a smaller one with (1) sink had to go in instead. With that being said, *** had looked around for another vanity, and found one that was entirely out of my budget for this jobI advised that if she chose a vanity that was more than my budget, that she would have to make up the difference(Besides the fact that supplying the faucet was ***s responsibility, as per our contract)*** did not see why she should have to pay extra, if the faucet came with the vanityI responded, why should I, its your house.I allotted $for the vanity, and mirrorThe vanity that *** chose was more than double,Rubbish removal was not part of the contract that *** signedI usually incorporate rubbish removal in my proposals- but as per ***s request- we removed rubbish removal, to keep costs down below $12,000 Electrical-grounding wire for *** tub pump to breaker box, and tie into grounding Busbar*** ***-said it is not necessary, but if it would make you feel better, than by all means** *** needs to hire an electrician for this task.**Plumbing - Flush up toilet-run waste line to flush up pumpInstall sinkminute job- roughing for waste line- completeValves were in for water supply-complete.Painting a pipe was wrapped with x 10” sheetrock and needed to be paintedAs well as touch ups on walls, due to other trades putting hand prints and smudgesMy painting was completeI also had to replace chipped ceiling tiles- caused by othersCeiling was complete.Molding- 6' molding to go around the toilet enclosureI created this enclosure for NO Charge and purchased the moldiorder to keep costs down for herAGAIN, it is ridiculous to charge me for something did for FREEI tried to accommodate her as much as I possibly could, being that *** was looking for her basement to be finished, and a deck to be builtI always take photos with the homeowners permission, of the proposed jobI can furnish if necessary.I had taken off (4) days, of which I had doctors appointments for my back and hip pain, and was advised to take 7-days off to restI did not do that in order to not delay the jobI also took ways when my father passed away.I kept working until she got the faucet for me to installIn the mean time I had turned down a couple of small jobs, because I did not want to start another job- when all I was waiting for was a faucetHad I know that it would have taken as long as it did, at least I would have made something instead of nothing-just waiting. My wife, Dawn S***, handles my office duties.I did speak with ***, about all phases of her job, but I also advise Dawn on each days progress, so when Dawn speaks with ***- she can tell her where we are with the progress and plan of her job.We take into consideration that when a customer decides to invest in a project, they are anxious for a finished productOur conversations were always professional on our part, but *** was getting sarcastic and condescending and rude and constantly hanging up on me, which I don't deserve or appreciate.I did speak with ***, and she expressed that she was not happy that her project was not complete, I responded that I was sorry that she was not happy and offered her a refund so she can hired someone else*** refused the refund and hung up on meAGAIN.I did sent ***, a Back charge bill for extras, which included a refund of $for the vanityNO response.Today, I receive this letter from Revdex.comI will now re-send the bill certified mail. She wanted the job done by the end of September, and I told her it was impossible, it takes weeks for special order fixtures from *** *** to arriveI told her I would be done around the middle of November, if we do not run into unforeseen conditionsI told her being that she is adding additional work, the job will take longerCOMMON SENSE.She was complaining why the tiles were taking a longtime to dryI pointed out on the glue bucket, that it could take up to 24-hours to cure if you use NON POURIS tiles.(Which she was)Dry time increases greatlyUnfortunately I have NO control on dry timeIt took days for glue to dry, and day for grout to dry.She finally got a *** tub filler from *** ***, and the next day the tub was up and running, flush up toilet and shower were up and runningShe delayed these items to be completed at least month. You can't put the cart before the horse- the tub filler needed to be installed before the wall could be closedComplete

I am rejecting this response because:Robert knows very well what the delays were as outlined previously.  It is a shame he does business the way he does.  He is aware fully that even my neighbor gave him a job, I held up nothing! Any delays on my part were properly addressed in a very timely manner.  There was no 8 week delay on my part, see all the supporting details.  On my part, hindsight is always better and I should have done a better background check before hiring him.  Court came up as his wife Dawn said I should find someone else after months of their incomplete work.  The bureau has the data and it is obvious that anyone in my position after everything would be frustrated.  The writing at the bottom of the contract was added by him or Dawn after signing the original and I have no such copy, the addended copy is as agreed.  Robert said nothing about me supplying shelving for the linen closet at all and this is news to me, I provided the materials in the addend he requested, door, tiles, grout, sealer, thin set, pump and he was paid in full.I had no agreement with him regarding his delays nor have I any idea what the  "back charges" are as they seem fabricated at best.  I have explained and supplied the evidences.I will not be threatened or bullied by Robert.  He has a track record that precedes him that I unfortunately was not award of.  I owe him nothing and do not accept his threat of collections.
