T. Bolton Painting & Drywall

After being paid the labor cost of the job, [redacted] Bolton has refused to do the work and has even refused to communicate about the situation.I had initially hired [redacted] Bolton to paint my living room and kitchen. He did a wonderful job and I was very pleased with his work. I decided that I also wanted to have him paint 2 bedrooms. [redacted] and I discussed the project and agreed on a price. On January 28, 2014 I paid [redacted] the $300 labor cost of the 2 bedroom job. [redacted] filled out a receipt stating the details of the job as well as the fact that it had been paid in full. When my schedule allowed for me to have the bedrooms painted, I called [redacted] and set up a date and time. When the day came for [redacted] to do the work, he didn't arrive and did not call. I was able to get in touch with him again and we set up a second date for him to complete the painting. Once again, [redacted] did not show up and did not call. It has now been six weeks since [redacted] was supposed to do my painting. I have left numerous voicemails and text messages and [redacted] has refused to respond. Desired SettlementI would be content if [redacted] would complete the painting in the 2 bedrooms. However, if he refuses I deserve a refund of my money.
