Review: I purchased carpet for my basement family room from TC Flooring in Amelia on 11-5-12 and was told it would be installed on 11-8-12. After twice being called with the excuse that "it didn't come in", it was finally installed on 11-13.12. When I went downstairs to take a look, I thought they had installed 2 different carpets. On one side of the seam, it was light, on the other side of the seam it was dark. The installers brought it up before I could even speak and assured me this was a manufacturer defect,it had happened before and was quickly replaced, and that it would be replaced within a month. They took pictures to forward to the manufacturer. The next day they came back out to finish installing one of the metal strips leading to another room and said the owner of TC Carpet had put in the calls and someone would be calling me back to set up a time to have it taken up and replaced.The following week, I called TC Flooring and was told by [redacted] that it would be a couple of weeks and since that was right before Christmas, it probably wouldn't be taken care of until after the holidays. Since January 2nd, I have been calling on a regular basis. [redacted] kept telling me that the owner, TC, would be calling me back. He never does. [redacted] finally tells me that TC has told him it could take a while... possibly a year. That is completely unacceptable and I demand to speak to TC, but not surprisingly, he's not available. I leave a message for him on his voice mail that as the business owner, I expect him to resolve this. I never receive a call back. I called again today and now they're not answering their business phone. (You have to unblock your phone number so they can see who's calling.)The last message I left was that if I was not called back, I would be contacting the Revdex.com and an attorney if this is not resolved immediately. They have not bothered to respond. Again.Desired Settlement: I originally just wanted the carpet replaced as they said it would be. But after such horrible customer service, I want a refund so I can have it replaced by a reputable firm.

Review: On Feb 25, [redacted] from TC flooring gave me an estimate to install dark brown carpet in my bedroom. I was told it would be a few days and I would be contacted. I was finally contacted on March 7 and scheduled March 9th, 11:00 for installation. No contact until almost 4:00 on March 9 and two guys who did not work for the company, came out and the company had called them to do their work. after moving the furniture, ripping out my old carpet, they carry in the new carpet and I stopped them coming in the door. that is not the carpet I ordered. They tried contacting the boss and I finally said it is late (@5:00 and I need things returned to normal. My husband uses oxygen and a cpap nightly so I needed bed and furniture put back. I told them to go ahead and put down the lighter carpet and I would contact the owner because that was not what I ordered. After several days of leaving messages, I finally got a live person on the phone and he was a new employee and would contact the main boss and get back with me. After several days again, I called back and they were going to replace the carpet. They would need to reorder and would call me for installation. On March 20, I received a call wanting to know if we were going to be home that day and they could do the install and would call me back with the time. Shortly before 6 that evening, I received a call from that person that and he hadn't heard from the owner again. On March 23, while I was not home, the same 2, non employees, showed up and my husband said they had 2 swatches of carpet to make sure they had the right carpet. One was exactly like what they had put down earlier and one just a little darker. My husband would not let them put it down. I have called and left messages again and no one will return my call. This is poor business and poor customoer service. I want my money back so I can go elsewhere...It has been one month today (3-25-13)and still not the carpet I ordered has been installed.Desired Settlement: I would like the $540.00 returned to me so I can get the dark brown carpet I wanted and relieved of this stress. This has been very stressful on me as I get very frustrated when no one returns my calls and it causes my blood pressure to rise.

Review: Carpet purchased from TC Flooring and installed by them developed premature worn place within a matter of days. A representative of the store came out and looked at the problem and also some installation issues with carpet seams and said he would contact the manufacturer and get back to us. After several weeks we have no positive response from TC Flooring. I called the manufacturer and was told the store had filed no complaint with them. I then gave the store representative the phone number to call. He said it was our responsibility to file a claim, which is opposite to what the manufacturer told me. After numerous calls and visits to the store, I cannot get the owner to respond. The store manager exhibits very poor and abrasive customer service and we cannot get anyone to address the problem with the carpet.Desired Settlement: Repair or replace the affected carpet in the room, and also repair installation problems with some of the seams that the TC Flooring representative said they would repair.

TC Flooring has been in communicatoins with the manufacture the claim absolutely has been filed also the claim has been denied information stating the reasons as to why the claim was denied is being sent to the consumer by the manufacture. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

The company, TC Flooring, has made no attempt to contact us regarding the complaint. The manufacturer has not contacted us as of yet as stated in TC Flooring's response. The carpet was bought and installed by TC Flooring and it is their responsibility to address the complaint. They claim to have no further responsibility and want to shift the responsibility to the carpet manufacturer.
