I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Wow a General Manager responds to a complaint by putting the blame and calling the customer a liar. Wow I hope the owner of Town and Country Ford is aware of how customers are treated. I will try to make this as clear as possible and I know you are trying to cover yourself and state that the Roush truck was purchased from your store in Nashville that is a dead wrong statementOk if there is no Roush store in Nashville the statements that I was saying about misrepresentation from your sales associates are a fact. Where would I get Roush in Nashville? Answer from you sales associate. As I researched through Ford corporate they are the ones that pointed out the odometer misrepresentation, if it were true about a data input issue are you saying you made the mistake times? That is a lot of mistakes of so called data input issueFord considered this as a lemon law repurchase until they found out you in Louisville installed the Roush supercharged kitFrom what I am being told from Ford a non authorized dealer for Roush is not authorized to work on Roush vehicles case in point, the belt shredding wasn't from a driver hot rodding the truck, another reputable Ford Dealer Bill Collins ford who is authorized to work on Roush parts found that the alternator was not in align with other pulleys, causing the belt to shredAgain, proof is in the facts stop blaming the customers. If you feel so strongly and back your sales associated in all this wrong doing that can be proven by facts "not blame" buy your truck back. Don't make this a consumer protection law issue between our attorneysI am only trying to give you every opportunity to make this right. As originally stated I was looking to replace this truck, now just buy this truck back and all parties go their separate ways. No more dealings with either party

RE: Complaint #[redacted]

First, let’s address the statements that the supercharger was not put on by an authorized Roush dealer. The supercharger was parts from Roush and were put on by our Ford store in Nashville that is an authorized Roush dealer. The customer...

refers to us stating that the supercharger was put on by Roush of Nashville. Roush does not have a shop in Nashville, this is a dealer installed option and the customer was notified of that at purchase. The customer is correct in the fact that the warranty took a little time to get from Roush, and took a few man hours on all our part.  To clarify, Town and Country Ford made it clear at the start that the truck was demo and that it came from our Nashville Ford store that is a Roush dealer.

The customer refers to the number times the truck has been in service, twice it had to be towed in due to the belt on the supercharger being shredded or coming off do to over revving the engine. Once for a driver mirror switch not working (which was covered under warranty). Also for an alignment, several oil changes, updating the Sync system and a loose ground wire causing it to not start. Yes there are some warranty issues, but the main complaint has been caused by the driver basically hot-rodding the truck. As for the mileage issue, that was a data input issue not an odometer disclosure misrepresentation. The way a vehicle is driven and maintained has a direct reflection on the reliability.

In closing, we know what was told during the purchase of the truck, the deal was work basically with the sales desk directly and many witnesses that can confirm that there was a full discloser on all aspects of the deal.

In regards to the customers complaint in regards to the broken radio. At NO time have we ever told the customer that we would not repair or fix his radio. The issue  was that Ford has discontinued the production of the radio, so it has been necessary to find one else were. Unfortunately...

for both parties it has not been fast enough, as of today we have installed a radio that works and even taken care of other issues he had with his SUV without asking for him to pay for it. The customer apologized for his behavior today and left happy.
