Brandon Harley Davidson came back to me three times to tell me I needed more work done on my bike that was running great when I took it inI took it in only to have brakes changed and an oil change They came back and said I needed all of this stuff going from $to &1,600!!! They said that my wheel bearing was bad and then my wheel hub had collapsed! They tried to get me to purchase a new wheel! I said, what work have you done so far and they said everything including installing the new tiresThey had already placed a new tire on the wheelDo they normally place a new tire on a known bad wheel?!?
Just bought a used Ultra Limited and had a great experience in purchasing my bike When I arrived to pick it up, the paperwork was all ready for me Kelly, in sales, is very knowledgeable in motorcycles and easy to work with I would not purchase anywhere else except at Brandon Harley Being a LAMA member, I would highly recommend any member to check them out before deciding to go some place else
Brandon Harley Davidson came back to me three times to tell me I needed more work done on my bike that was running great when I took it in. I took it in only to have brakes changed and an oil change. Retained excessive security deposit without justifying actual expenses.
Rented a house in Kingsport managed by this business with a stipulation in the lease that they would deduct $100 of the $750 security deposit for carpet cleaning, which I agreed to, and anything other than normal wear-and-tear. I received only $90 back with a listing that was prepared during their walk-through. All items on the list that I received are nothing more than normal wear-and-tear. I called the office to get receipts for actual charges, and when I was finally put through to someone after leaving numerous messages, was told that "they didn't owe me anything and they weren't going to waste any more time on it." I always paid my rent on time, didn't have any major issues, and I respected the property and took care of it to the best of my ability.
According to the list I received, these items were as follows:
Walls & woodwork had only small holes & needed touch up paint. (normal wear & tear)
Wallpaper in the bathroom was coming down (which is to be expected in a bathroom and not due to neglect.) Toilet is old & needs cleaning (scratches at bottom of bowl will not come out).
Kitchen needed only touch-up paint, appliances needed to be wiped down, items in cabinet (ice cube trays) were left because they were there when I moved in.
Flooring:
Carpets: all carpets cleaned
Hard surface: good just needs cleaning (I steam-cleaned the carpets myself and steam-mopped all floors.)
Note indicates a slow drip in kitchen (this is normal wear & tear).
Exterior & landscaping: note says yard needs to be mowed. I had a lawn service mow 3 days before vacating the property, followed the next day with trimming bushes next to house. I am not responsible for grass that grows after I vacate the property.
Other comments: bagged trash piled up next to trash can, there were a few things in the laundry room & a few items in the backyard (2 of which were there when I moved in). I expected and would have agreed to a REASONABLE charge for disposing of these items; however, the bagged trash would be picked up by the city crew on trash day.
I have never before been denied security deposit for any reason. All I wanted were more details as to what the deductions were for. If these charges were legitimate, why not provide this? I am a reasonable person, but I feel these deductions and the way I was treated when I asked for more information were unreasonable.
