I went on line to look up Excelsior college and I was booked with College Network advertisement. I ignored the prompt and continued on when Indiana State University also came up. I called to speak with [redacted] and I was told that they were affiliated with excelsior and that someone can come to my home to get me set-up on line. I cancelled the first visit and reschedule. I was told that I will only have to take 9 classes since I had just finished LPN classes and waiting to take the NCLEX test. I was told that my clinicals would be at several locations to choose from and that I would graduate from Excelsior College which is an accredited school after completion of my classes. These were to be online classes. I received a letter from Southeast Financial to pay $ 5970 with a 12% interest rate . I want a refund of the $ 100 dollar deposit and I want them shut down for me leading me. I contacted Excelsiors admissions , registration, and financial aids departments and no one has ever heard of College Network and they certainly are not affiliated with Excelsior. The student representative department is aware of there scam but says they have no dealings with them pertaining to graduation or anything else. So therefore , there is no way for me to graduate from Excelsior unless I am an enrolled student, which is not the case here. Thank You [redacted]
