I rented a house in Laramie for which TD Real Estate was the rental agent Everything about my experience was positive Jessica was very helpful, flexible, and supportive when I initially discussed and rented the property They made moving in easy for me in inconvenient circumstances When issues arose concerning utilities and repairs, Holly and others were very good-natured, cooperative, and responsive Their website worked really well for me to pay charges and to keep track of communications

This is a long post, but read it if you are considering renting from TD Real EstateI lived in one of their houses for several years and had nothing but a painful, headache-filled experienceThe office staff does not communicate with each other and is extremely insufficientFor example, they request that you submit service requests on their website, but whenever we called to follon something, they “never saw it” and “don’t know how it fell through the cracks.” Yet, when it comes to charging you for any services, they are very promptWe had a PVC pipe that started leaking everywhere (it was poorly duct taped to the floor) and when someone came out to look at this, we were charged $for them to kick it back into placeYet when our basement flooded (due to their negligence with sprinkler issues) and the insulation needed to be replaced, we had to contact them multiple times to address the issueThe same happened with our hot water heaterIt required replacement due to a carbon monoxide leak and we had to keep contacting them to get it replaced, even though it was a health hazardThe owner of our house decided to schedule repairs to our roof without consulting anyoneIt was a lovely surprise when I woke up one morning to roofers stomping around on the roofWhen I contacted TD regarding the issue they had no idea and said they would make sure it didn’t happen againWell it happened again and the roofers showed up a second time without warningClearly the communication between their staff and the homeowners is inadequate as wellDon’t even bother talking to someone in the office who “will relay” the message to the appropriate person, it won’t happenAnother warning- DO NOT expect to get your deposit backWhile TD is a third party that does not have much say in which vendors are used at move-out, the owner will use the most outrageously priced servicesWe were charged over $for a “deep cleaning” of our bedroom house which we thoroughly cleaned upon move-outWe had the carpets professionally cleaned and spent several hours doing our own cleaningI looked into the cleaning company they used and could not find a website or any informationAll we could find is that they are a registered business but were registered less than a year before we moved outIt definitely seems suspiciousApparently the agents for the homeowner wanted to take advantage of us by using the most expensive cleaning services available and taking our money for itThere is no consideration for the residentsNo one is perfect, but we were taken advantage of and, from the other reviews, it looks like we weren’t the only onesI have rented from several different places with all types of landlords, but this one takes the cakeIt was like pulling teeth to contact them and to ever get anything doneI have worked in property management for several years and have never seen anyone treat residents as poorly as TD Real Estate and the homeowners doI highly advise that you take these issues into consideration if you are thinking about signing a lease with TD Real Estate

ZERO STARSDON'T USE TDThe manager is very unprofessional and downright rudeShe was extremely unhelpful in our move out processWorst property management company I've ever done business with in my lifeI don't like writing bad reviews, but TD is a model for what NOT to do as a business, any businessThey nickel and dime tenants and rip them off for everything they canThey are very unorganized, careless and very unprofessionalWhen it came to TD fixing, repairing or doing anything responsible, they failedGreedy, unorganized and unprofessionalIf you go through them, take CLOSE UP PICTURES of the ENTIRE HOUSE, as well as a very thorough inspection, because otherwise you'll never get any deposit back and you'll have a huge headacheThat's what we got for leaving the place cleaner than we found it to begin with

Relocated to Cheyenne and leased a home from TD Real Estate until I figured out where I wanted to purchaseInitial assistance was handled In a professional manner, but once the lease was signed it was another storyThe tenant before me damaged the place and TD was going to fix it before I moved in as I had prepaid weeks in which I wasn't going to be thereLong story shortmonths later and I still don't have a shower that I can use and I had to fix other things on my ownIt appears that TD is more focused on the pennies and forgot about the customerNeedless to say, I'll be using another firm when I purchase

Awful company to do business with! Royce and that office are completely disrespectful, and do not wish to help anyoneThey do not fix things when it needs to be done and if you put in a request and they tell you to play nice when they dont like the concerns. There have been safety issues and still can not get it addressedThey do not return calls and when you go to the office no one can helpI have never seen a business that is terrible in all aspectsI hope eventually they are held accountable for their actions!!!

This is a long post, but read it if you are considering renting from TD Real Estate. I lived in one of their houses for several years and had nothing but a painful, headache-filled experience. The office staff does not communicate with each other and is extremely insufficient. For example, they request that you submit service requests on their website, but whenever we called to follow-up on something, they “never saw it” and “don’t know how it fell through the cracks.” Yet, when it comes to charging you for any services, they are very prompt. We had a PVC pipe that started leaking everywhere (it was poorly duct taped to the floor) and when someone came out to look at this, we were charged $75.00 for them to kick it back into place. Yet when our basement flooded (due to their negligence with sprinkler issues) and the insulation needed to be replaced, we had to contact them multiple times to address the issue. The same happened with our hot water heater. It required replacement due to a carbon monoxide leak and we had to keep contacting them to get it replaced, even though it was a health hazard. The owner of our house decided to schedule repairs to our roof without consulting anyone. It was a lovely surprise when I woke up one morning to roofers stomping around on the roof. When I contacted TD regarding the issue they had no idea and said they would make sure it didn’t happen again. Well it happened again and the roofers showed up a second time without warning. Clearly the communication between their staff and the homeowners is inadequate as well. Don’t even bother talking to someone in the office who “will relay” the message to the appropriate person, it won’t happen. Another warning- DO NOT expect to get your deposit back. While TD is a third party that does not have much say in which vendors are used at move-out, the owner will use the most outrageously priced services. We were charged over $800.00 for a “deep cleaning” of our 3 bedroom house which we thoroughly cleaned upon move-out. We had the carpets professionally cleaned and spent several hours doing our own cleaning. I looked into the cleaning company they used and could not find a website or any information. All we could find is that they are a registered business but were registered less than a year before we moved out. It definitely seems suspicious. Apparently the agents for the homeowner wanted to take advantage of us by using the most expensive cleaning services available and taking our money for it. There is no consideration for the residents. No one is perfect, but we were taken advantage of and, from the other reviews, it looks like we weren’t the only ones. I have rented from several different places with all types of landlords, but this one takes the cake. It was like pulling teeth to contact them and to ever get anything done. I have worked in property management for several years and have never seen anyone treat residents as poorly as TD Real Estate and the homeowners do. I highly advise that you take these issues into consideration if you are thinking about signing a lease with TD Real Estate.
