$433.32 was taken from my account even though we have not used their services for many, many months AND their reason is in invalid.
On May 17, 2012, this company debited my account for $433.32. They are a software company that we have worked with in the past. We discovered that this is a company that is not at all user friendly, not unlike the software they provide. They do not answer their phones claiming to be busy. On that date, I attempted to contact TDS first by sending an email (to which they have not yet responded) and gave my phone number. After several phone calls prior to 9 am Eastern time, I finally got hold of xxxxx. I did not tell her my name initially but when I stated the problem, she responded that she already had the email and knew that I had an issue. They have caller ID and identified me that way. She told me that the person I needed to speak with (xxxxx would not be in until 11:00 and would be there until 2:30 (I believe). Beginning 11:00, I made maybe 20 attempts to phone this person. No answer. I had been in contact with my bank and I called them again to see what could be done. They instructed me to come in and sign some papers so on my way to the bank, I called from my cell. Lo and behold, xxxxx answered. I was then told that the person I needed to speak with was gone for the day but that she left a note in my file that said I needed to email the accounting office in xxxxx.(Oddly enough, in my initial phone call, I specifically asked for the accounting department.) I was then told that this charge stemmed from the download of 2012 updates (in May of 2012????) by xxxxx--the company I worked for from March of 2010 to November of 2011. (I spoke with xxxxx who told me that they have not used the TDS program since November of 2011 because he had trouble controlling their debits on his account, as well. He had to cancel his debit card on that account to deny the charges they were attempting to make. He also informed me that xxxxx had not downloaded the 2012 updates as they were not using this program.) I then emailed the accounting department in Utah later that day (Friday). I have yet to hear from them and it is now Thursday, May 24th.
