Denied my claim on getting my car fixed
On 03/05 driving through the drive-in window to pick up my order a big junk of ice fell on my hood on my car from their roof. 2 witnesses from McDonalds seen and heard the loud pop and the 3rd witness (customer-don't know) seen it also. At that time I could not see any damage because my hood was full of dirt and grime and I told this to the McDonald's supervisor. On 03/07 I wash my car that morning before going to work. That afternoon while I was driving my car home I noticed some dents on my hood-my hood previously was in excellent shape. I call McDonalds on 03/10 on what I had found and they told me that I needed to file an accident report-at that time the supervisor didn't tell me what kind of accident report so I call the Richmond Police and they came out filed a report and tried to contact [redacted] of TDS restaurants in Richmond with no success. I tried to call them but they never answer the phones or messages so I took a copy of the report and went to their offices. Then they told me they had to file this claim with their insurance company (York Services). On Friday 05/02 I was notified that they had denied the claim because I took too long on reporting this accident that they cause. I tried to contact to owner through the TDS resturant company-waiting to hear back from them. It's sad I should never have been in this fix if they only would have stop traffic coming through the drive-in window. In fact the attendee at the driveway windown was yelling at someone in McDonalds to get their ice off from the roof because it was falling on the ground where the cars were coming through.
