I took this job which was a lot further than our normal distance for doing work, because this was an old friends mother.  With full intention of taking good care of her like I have for thousands of other happy customers.  We did a lot of foot work to get things corrected with the...

insurance company for her siding to get the whole house paid for not just the half a house of siding, in which we were successful doing.   We put a lot of time and research into her home to ensure she receive the whole house in siding.  This is a service we did not charge for even though many trips to various siding wholesalers and hours of employees was required.   To start there are many statements that lack merit.  Many of these I have never heard about in our many, many conversations.  I will start with a listing of the partially true statements.  I would also like to state that I have done all of this work without having received a single penny yet.    True statement:   The first invoice was lower than the final invoice that she demanded via text message.  In a text message, she stated to no longer call or text her, to simply send the invoice for only the items we have completed to date.  On 04-14-2017 we mailed her a detailed invoice of work completed.  It was not “made up”, but is instead based on her exact unit costs displayed in her insurance paperwork.  This request is why we did not install the 30 linear feet of gutter and the gutter guards.  It was one of the last items to install and she stopped all work on site before we could complete it because she was making decisions.  Mrs. [redacted] was also not charged for the fanfold insulation that is installed before siding.    True Statement: There were trash bags of Styrofoam that blew in a storm the night of 4-4-2017. There were approximate wind gusts of 40 mph that evening.  Mrs. [redacted] did have to pick up the contents of the bags after the wind blew them around.    Untrue Statement:  We have text messages with photos from Mrs. [redacted] stating that she cleaned up six bags of trash, not the fifteen she has stated here.  We did haul off the bags the next morning.   We have documentation of the removal of the bags by our crew.   True Statement:  The turtle vents were placed on the garage, not spinning turbines as we had discussed with her previously.  We discussed with her the reason turtle vents are better than the turbines.  Turbines have a tendency to squeak, to blow off of roofs, and over time stop working altogether.  This is why you rarely see them on homes anymore.  It is just now being said she wanted the spinning turbines.   We also installed a better shingle on Mrs. [redacted]’s roof.  We also have text messages from Mrs. [redacted] saying the “roof looked great” and that the crew was, “the best”.    Untrue Statement: We did not shingle over faulty or damaged wood on the garage.  We used the best shingle in the industry, Owens Corning Tru Definition.  Her insurance only paid for a 25 year shingle that does not have the 130mph wind resistance that the installed 30 year shingle has.  She received a superior product, her roof now has the best integrity with what was installed by our crew.     True Statement:  Did not attach downspout strap to new siding until she decided on new downspout or apply footage to garage gutter that was not paid for by insurance.   Why was this done?  We did not want to place holes in her new siding until she made a final decision on the downspout.  This decision needed stopped all progress before completion.  There is only a few hours of work left to do and the job is completed.    Untrue Statement:  The IRS is not involved in any way with a claim against your insurance.  There are regulations for the use of insurance money on your home but nothing is considered income.  The items Mrs. [redacted] had done on her own, legally, we applied those line item funds to help her save some of her deductible.  My office manager can verify her constant calling and repeated questions regarding the same issue.  She called all winter asking when her roof would be done, even when snow was on the roof.    We were aware of Mrs. [redacted] having done the deck work herself.  This allowed us to apply those line items towards her deductible, saving her money.   She was very aware of these adjustments and her signature is below every item that we were not doing to be applied towards her deductible. Mrs. [redacted] has not paid any money for her new roof and new siding.  We have paid out thousands of dollars to our crews and suppliers.    We have worked in good faith with her and she only continues to withhold payment.  We would like to be paid for the work we have done.  Her home has been totally transformed for months and it is insurance fraud to not pay us with the insurance money she has received for the completed work to her home.  We are a reputable company in business for over 25 years with 0 work related complaints and an A+ rating from the Revdex.com.  We have thousands of customers who use us again and again for their roof replacements. Those customers continue to refer us to their friends and family.  Our experience with Mrs. [redacted] is there are a lot of complaints that are sporadic in nature that never have much merit to them.  We have tried our best to address all of her complaints.

If the clients last response was in reference to only the fanfold.  The reason this supplement was not yet applied for with the insurance company is we had already applied for one supplement and were waiting until the job was completed before filing any more.  This ensures that all things would be in one final supplement saving paperwork and time.  The client demanded we send and invoice for all work completed which stopped all work and the supplement process as well.  We have not and will not charge the client for the fanfold.  Her invoice received even shows that the fanfold was at no cost to her.To date the client has not paid anything towards her new roof, siding, and guttering.  These complaints are all unfounded and we feel strongly that this process is being extended to keep us from being paid for work completed.re...
