Review: Sales person entered house without permission. (Opened door and came inside) Was instructed to leave. Sales person left brochure on tableDesired Settlement: No one from this company is permitted on the property.

Review: I purchased 2 cases of meat (beef/chicken). During the unpacking process, my wife and I noticed many of the vacuum sealed packages were torn/ripped and/or completely open and unsealed. Multiple attempts to contact the seller were required to attempt a refund. The seller promised multiple times he would come pick up the product however he has yet to arrive 5 days later. Multiple phone calls to the seller have not been answered or returned.Desired Settlement: Complete cash/check refund due to defective product.

Review: Got some pork products from them, when a Scotty Smith was putting them in my freezer I had about 6 boxes of steaks in the freezer. He took the steaks out to make room for the pork, when putting the steaks back in he did not put the last box in the freezer. I went down the next day to put the boxes in the trash and one box had 6 steaks in it. I called the next Tuesday because of the holiday and talk to a man he said Scotty was on vac. when he came he would get him to call. No one has call, and now they will not pick up the phone.Desired Settlement: Credit to my credit card of $60.00 10.00 per steak.

Review: [redacted] is an independent contractor selling frozen meat door-to-door. He was not truthful about the meat he was selling. In addition, he stated we could get our money back if we contacted the company within three days. The filets were barely eatable. The company, T.J. Atkins Frozen Foods, from which he got his meat was contacted and the representative stated that we had to deal with [redacted]. However, he did not leave us a phone number and we did not ask because he said we could call the company.The company stated that they did not have his phone number. Two messages were left for him to call us, but he did not.We are now stuck with six boxes of frozen meat of questionable quality.Desired Settlement: We just want other individuals in the Roanoke area to be aware of this situation so they will not end up with a less an desirable product.

Review: The company, represented by an Independent Sales Contractor named [redacted], promised to hold my mother's check for two weeks. I have contacted the company every week, several times, for a month now. Nobody ever returns my calls. The business is sketchy to begin with. They sold us a freezer that was damaged because someone else promised to purchase it, but we saved the day. This is not the main issue.

My mother paid several hundred dollars and was promised that the check would be held for two weeks. The check was processed that day or the next (I can get documentation). Either way, the bank account went into overdraft for several hundred dollars. This is a breach of trust and the man's word. Again, I have contacted these people SEVERAL times each week for at least a month now. I am very upset that nobody has contacted me back. I have spoken to two different women who have said someone would get back to me. As of right now, nobody has contacted me. This cost us several hundred more dollars than what we purchased.

We have spent several thousand dollars with this company and, yet, we are treated like this.Desired Settlement: I would like to either get the amount of money that was over-drafted, including the fees for overdraft. It is around $300. I can get the correct documentation for how much my mother went into overdraft because of the check being processed way too early.

This company needs to either refund the money or give us the equivalent in mean/merchandise. Either would please us.

We also want an apology for being ignored and being put into overdraft. The seller, [redacted], is to blame or his supervisors forced him to go back on his word by processing the check too early. Again, if he had to go against his word, he should have come back, taken back the meat, and ripped up the check until we were able to pay for it.

This issue needs to be resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.

He is an Independent Contractor and that is an agreement that he made with her, not the company. The check was presented and processed according to the date that was written on the check.

Regardless if the person is an independent contractor, he works for your company! His name is on your brochure. You are responsible for his actions. If he will not take responsibility, then you must. As stated before, you have received thousands of dollars from us and made a great profit from our business with you. We even purchased a dented-up "new" freezer full of food that someone didn't want. We have helped you in the past. None of these people have ever said they were independent contractors--they say they work for you. I have read reviews online and there are A LOT of people who are dissatisfied with your company. Now I can see why there are so many who are unhappy with your business.

Again, we deserve what was previously requested in the complaint. As a business, you messed up. You need to take responsibility and make up for the loss we had to take. Do the right thing and take responsibility for what a representative of you company did.

AGAIN--your representative promised to do something that he did not do. Quit trying to shrug off your responsibilities. Your person came into my home and made a promise. Your company relies on 'tricking' people into feeling comfortable with your salespeople. So, when he came in and said, "Yes, we will hold your check for two weeks" we believed it. I cannot believe how awful you all are being. You present yourselves as kind and caring--trying to help people. However, you are responding to me as if I do not know who you all are! Again, we have spent thousands of dollars with your company and were satisfied UNTIL you lied. The bottom line is that you lied--You Lied! Quit shrugging your responsibility as a company. This proves that you all are low-class, grimy, and should not legally be allowed to operate this company.

When you ride by with a freezer full of food that was supposed to be sold to someone else and you talked us into buying it, you should be extremely thankful for the money that we have given you. I am absolutely positive that you have done this to many of your customers (promising this, promising that, yet never delivering on the promise). Your person made a verbal contract with me and it was broken. Quit being irresponsible and take ownership for your mistakes!

Review: This is a home solicitation sale that I purchased frozen meat from on 6/26/2014 and again on 7/16/2014 that is terrible no matter how it is cooked. I called the main office in Roanoke, they took my complaint over the phone and indicated a sales contractor would get back with me, which has not happened as of today. The call was made to their office on or about 10 days ago. Was told as time of sale that if not satisfied with the product to let them know. They also have a 3 day return policy that was not explained at the time of the sale. I did not cook any of the meat until around the latter part of July, because I had a supply from the store to use first. The pamphlet provided at time of sale indicated that the check should be payable to Independent Contractors but I was asked to make check payable to individual selling the meat not to Independent Sales Contractor.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded all the money that I paid the sales contractor and they can pick up the remaining meat. All the different cuts I have cooked have no taste and are very tough. This meat is terrible and they should not be allowed to sell any of it. I spent a total of $1032.28 that needs to refunded. I cannot eat this meat, again it is terrible!!
