Review: I own a twin home in Wildwood Crest NJ. It is primarily used for the spring and summer. I plan to move there permanently at the end of this year. The other side of the twin is owned by my ex-husband. We share a water line. We hired Mr. [redacted], the owner, to turn off the water, drain the pipes and winterize the toilets. We were charged several hundred dollars for this. (I have receipts)Apparently all he did was turn off the water. The pipes, as far as we can tell, were not drained. After attempting to turn on the water, several pipes under ground as well as pipes connected to showers burst. It came through my living room ceiling and I am still not sure how much damage has been done.My ex husband, [redacted] has attempted 3 times to call Mr. [redacted], starting appx April 10, 2015 when he saw the initial leak. He has not returned his calls. I am presently filling out a complaint with Dept of Consumer Affairs.Desired Settlement: We need a plumber to go into both houses and assess the situation to see how much damage has been done. We would like Mr. [redacted] to reimburse us for the damages.
