T. J.'s Dermagraphics Reviews (1)

Review: On Feb 23rd 2014 my friend and I both got tattoos done at this establishment by [redacted]. I got my tattoo one the inside of my wrist and my friend got her on her foot. After we got our tattoos [redacted] said to apply A&D ointment to it about 3-4 times a day for the next week, which we did. About 2 weeks later I realized by that my tattoo was beginning to look lighter and many of the dark shaded areas were starting to disappear. I sent [redacted] a text with a photo of the tattoo saying "please tell me it wont look like this when its fully healed." He said the color would return and that he stands by his work. Two weeks later we text him again as my friend's tattoo was now also fading. We texted him before and after photos of what it looked like when we got them done. We also called and spoke to the owner of the shop James "TJ" Warsing Jr. who said we could come in for a touch up for $10. We then said that we shouldn't have to have a tattoo touched up in a month. [redacted] then said he would refund us our money and to let him know what we end up with. ON Apr 3rd after a week of avoiding us we finally spoke to [redacted] and needless to say we never received a refund as [redacted] and TJ are now refusing to give us our money back.Desired Settlement: I would like to be fully refunded for the cost of both tattoos.

Response:

The studio of Tjs Dermagraphics has been around for more than four decades. We get people from all over the world wanting a tattoo or piercing. On our wall for everyone to see their is a sign that reads NO REFUNDS on tattoos or piercings. Every one is given an after care card or pamphlet on how to take care of their tattoo or piercing. They even fill a card out on how they like the art work. These Ladies were on vacation , if they went swimming this would have dyed some of the color from [redacted] tattoo, even washing dishes at home , it takes 7 to 14 days for a tattoo to heal even 30 days for some clients to heal fully. She took it very hard on the inside of her wrist for anyone getting something like that would, bending your wrist everyday and some clients put to much ointment on their tattoo. [redacted] did her friends tattoo on her foot for some reason [redacted]'s tattoo did fine and she wore shoes alot of times wearing shoes could take the tattoo longer to heal. These ladies knew if they needed a touch up on their tattoo they would need to come back and their would be a charge of $10.00 for the touch up that would be the cost of the needles, gloves, materials used for after care, the artists time would be free. [redacted] is my intern for TJs Dermagrahpics school. I am sorry for the way [redacted]'s tattoo turned out I will personally take care of her tattoo if she comes back on vacation I would do it for free, our policy is still posted on the wall NO REFUNDS. James August Warsing Jr.
