I could write a novel but it boils down to a few facts - He's a liar - cheater - snake in the grass. He billed us almost 3000.00 to do our taxes over 6 years (2012-2017) and NEVER FILED THEM. Fast forward to 2018 - through search warrants by the Orwigsburg police, we were able to retrieve our files and finally got this mess straightened out with the help of a legitimate accountant. Because of him not filing out returns we paid to have them re-done but then incurred penalty and interest amounting to several thousand dollars for his
"failure to file" since 2012. We were never entitled to refunds so we assumed it was taken care of - and were only alerted to this through my husband's employer who got notice of this before we ever did. It's taken 2 years to get this mess straightened out. - STAY AWAY from this sg ! I had to give 1 star to file this review but that is 1000 times more that what I would ever give him - NEGATIVE 1 MILLION STARS

Sometimes as in this case, taxpayers quickly file information that does not reflect their interests but the Government's. Then they don't know what to do and look for solutions (amended returns) that cannot come out of "thin air" and as speedy as making scrambled eggs. They expect review of their situation for free, when no professional performs free services, and as such think they overpaid for advice given in the first meetings. Unthinkable.

Review: My wife and I went to Mr. Blakeslee for tax and accounting advice. I had give my tax returns from 2010 to present. I paid for him to talk to him upfront which was $75.00. I gave him a $50.00 retainer fee to look over the past years of taxes. We have waited almost 3 months for a reply. I paid this man upfront to do the work. I replied numerous times. Sometimes you can get ahold of him and its a different excuse. Some of these excuses are Im in a battle with an insurance company over my accident I had. I had back surgery. I was at a school doing a disput with kids. The list keeps going on and on. To me if I did this I would have to fold my business.

I called him saying that I wanted my tax returns back and my $50.00 retainer fee. I can not get an answer or its a different excuse. Its very frustrating.

My mom and my brother both have gone to this person and if I knew ahead of time, they said don't go there. Welll it was to late. I already did. If I knew this I wouldn't of goneDesired Settlement: I would like my taxes forms back and a refund of my Money of $50.00 I fell as though going to this person was a complete waste of my time and brought stress to my wife and I.
