I've got a fridge from the company about six months back after the first week it was not running they came out while I was not home and said they were placed a part, jump start the fridge was cool that day and then after that was not cool ever again I called the company out here on-again today's date after not being able to reach them and not getting return phone calls they came out today which is May 1st and the man tried to plug in the fridge it blew all the breakers he looked at the part that he replaced and said that it had never fixed it that it was dead he apologized that sometimes they can't be fixed and that that part you replace it was just a dead fridge that he had sold us that he would go back and talk to the chief in quotations which was his wife about replacing the fridge when I called they said they would give me $40 off of the fridge when I told them that was not good enough to need to replace the fridge the lady told me know that she would not replace the fridge she would not do any compensation for what so ever that I could have been lying about it being broken when I told her that the man admitted that he never fixed it when he came out here after the first week we had bought it she stated that she would call me back hung up on me when she called back about not even five minutes later she was very nasty and stated there was nothing she would do for us she would not compensated she would not give us a discount on the fridge and you would not replace a fridge or fix the fridge the gentleman had admitted that it was broken when sold to us we paid $270 for the fridge that did not work more than a week.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like that they would either replace the fridge preferably if they cannot replace the fridge with one equal to the one that I originally picked out and paid for then for them to return the money that I paid for the fridge I'm even willing to take $200 versus the full 270 just for the simple fact that we got a week's worth of it working.

As we tried to explain a week prior, we have a 30 day warranty on all the appliances we sell.

The husband/owner stated that it was broken when he sold it that, the "kill switch" he replaced did not fix it, it was a dead fridge from the beginning, he also stated how that happens some times and he is not a magician. I have the logs showing I had called multiple times throughout the time since buying the fridge and only recieved busy signal. If the warranty was expired then the man would not have been sent out to try to see what happened he also stated he was low on fridges but he would see what he had as a replacement. Its the wife refusing to replace a fridge she sold broken. I'm not the only onnthisbhas happened to I learned on the site they've done this often

Sold refrigerator. About 1 week later customer calls says not working go check. Refrigerator was outside on 50 ft extension cord. Capacitor was bad we replaced it. 6 months later she calls. I explain that it is out of warranty. Sounded like it was getting no power. Called a few days later begging us to do something. Shop is less than a mile from customers house. We can go look. Ref is still outside on extension cord.cord has power ref doesn't. Did not charge for service call. Discussed in shop, decided to offer something ($40) in store credit. Called customer to tell her, she went off. Wouldn't hear that it is out of warranty and she is responsible to let us know if it's not working within the 30 days. Had to hang up to calm down. Decided to rescind $40 offer.

The lady on the phone who was not the one ever at the address nor ever around when talking to the husband, she was rude the first time I called. The husband stated he would speak to her after admitting he sold me a dead fridge. I told them the day I bought the fridge it would not be used until the remodel of the house was done I tried multiple times before covid to reach out with a busy signal. When I finally got him out here is when he admitted he sosolsosold a dead fridge and how it happens hes not a magician. Therefore he acknowledged the day he sold me the fridge it was a dead one regardless of warranty. I cant control they do not have call waiting, I work full time and raise a familywhile remodeling. They admitted it was thier faults.so there for they should replace with a working fridge or refund majority of the amount spent on purchasing the the dead refrigerator. Oh and the first time he came out he did so with noone here.
