Review: I went to jiffy lube yesterday at 1145 am for an oil change and inspection. they told me it would take about an hour or so. I did not get to leave til after 230pm. then they told me my car would not pass inspection because of a slight exhaust leak yet the emissions part passed. my car has been this way for years and has passed every year at other garages. they seem to have failed a lot of people that day. then I presented coupons for my bill and they neglected to give me credit. it was an awlful experience.they also asked me three different times for my insurance and owners card when it was right on the dash.Desired Settlement: I feel the inspection was not done properly and my car should have passed. I feel they have unqualified people performing these services. I think my inspection fee should be refunded.

Review: I brought my car in to Jiffy Lube for an inspection on August 17, 2014. My car passed inspection, and the assistant manager, as I paid my bill, told me there was a slight leak in the radiator, but that it wouldn't be a big deal as long as I checked my fluid every once in a while. My car is old, so it seemed like sound advice. I paid my $77 and climbed into my car. When I started it, however, I noticed the brake light was on. I'm an English teacher -- I don't know a blessed thing about cars -- so I at first thought there was something wrong with the emergency brake. But when I drove the car home, I noticed my brake pedal was depressing almost to the floor before the car would brake. Even I knew something was wrong. I popped the hood and found the brake fluid entirely empty. As it turns out, the brake lines had completely broken. So here's the short version of my story: Jiffy Lube put fresh inspection tags on my car, told me to have a nice day, and let me drive home in a vehicle that had no brakes. I have also filed a complaint through the state to sanction the station and possibly cost it its inspection license.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the $77 I paid for the vehicle inspection. Clearly, as my car had no brakes, they should not have stickered it. To this point, Jiffy Lube has not offered to pay any of my costs, including my towing fee from the Jiffy Lube parking lot to a nearby station. At the very least, they should refund me the money I paid for the car inspection.

Review: They beat up the oil filter housing when they tried to remove the oil filter. It resulted in oil leaks and the housing is unable to hold a filter without leaking.Desired Settlement: I expect them to pay for the vehicle to get fixed through a certified Toyota dealership.
