Regarding the response from MrTracy Moore, there is no mention that he made a choice to have a cement truck park on my driveway Against my request not to! He is responsible for repairing the damage That a transaction on my part with a third party fell through, does not mitigate his responsibility to fixing the damage to my driveway He said that the repair would be done correctly That is the only reason I paid him for the concrete sidewalk he installed I trusted his word, and now he is putting the onus on me for fixing the problem he said he would remedy I expect a refund of $to cover the cost of completing the work correctly! Furthermore, he states how much money he spent on product to fix the problem...does that matter? If he spent any amount of money for the repair and did an unacceptable job, the damage is still present! I am not satisfied with his response to the Revdex.com The damaged driveway cannot be driven on and the repair is pending If, as MrT Moore claims, he is not qualified to do the job/ repair because he only does concrete work, then why did he state to do it? He knew that he could not do it correctly and therefore is responsible to sending me a refund of $A.S.A.PWhat is more, the damaged area he worked on is but a section of the cement truck's path The worst part If MrMoore was to do all of the damaged driveway, the cost would be in the thousands of dollars!

Revdex.com spoke with MrMoore today and he stated the following:
We made a $deduction in pricing for him to hire someone else to do the work Then the fellow that he talked to said he needed $after we made the arrangement I was not willing to pay $so I asked him
what he wanted me to do He told me to saw-cut the damaged pavement area and fill in with a cold asphalt patch I spent hours saw cutting and removing - spent $on the product that he asked me to install, and he is still not happy I don't know what else to do for him I did as he asked and feel that there is nothing more that I can do for him at this point
He paid me in full and I followed through with what was asked of me to remedy his complaint

Revdex.com spoke with the business today and he has stated that he is willing to offer the consumer reimbursement for the purchase of the Aquaphalt at the cost of $ He again apologized for the truck being put onto the driveway, as it was a sub-contractor and he was out back and did not realize the sub-contractor would do that Tracy Moore again stated that he did try to address the consumer's issue with a cold patch, which the consumer agreed to, and then found to be unsatisfactory He stated that in the interest of being a gentleman and a professional, he will send the consumer $in the form of a certified check as his final offer to resolve the issue

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. No go on the promise of reimbursement for $150. From Tracey A. Moore T-Masonry & building services. I left several messages to his contract manager without any correspondence yet back to me! Can you please help me out with the new circumstances?

Revdex.com spoke with the consumer today and he stated that the city of Albany did address the issues at the end of the driveway as they were paving his street.  The other area, the consumer dug out himself and purchased Aguaphalt - 3 containers at $50.00 per container.  He has since made the repair himself.  At this point the consumer is still seeking $300.00 for the damage that the business caused by his cement truck being brought onto his driveway even though the consumer told him not to bring the truck on his driveway.
The consumer states that he did initially request that Tracy Moore use Aquaphalt for the patch, and Tracy told the consumer that the cold patch would work just as well.  The cold patch did not cure properly and was just as pliable when it came out of the bag 2 weeks earlier.  The workers from the city even advised the consumer that the cold patch was not a permanent fix to the problem.  It was only a band-aid and would not fix the issue.
The consumer also stated that he has a voice mail saved from the business that was received after the cold patch was completed, and the consumer had issue with it, stating that he does not have the expertise/competence to do the asphalt repair, so the consumer is questioning why Tracy Moore did it in the first place.

Mr. Moore and I agreed upon a price for the concrete job he performed:  $1850.  He was paid that amount in full upon completion of the job.  Mr. Moore erroneously states that he deducted $300 from this price.  I have documentation to support that he was paid $1850 in full.  The fact that Mr. Moore states he spent $267 for the preliminary repair to my driveway has no bearing on what I actually paid him out of pocket for the concrete job.
I am left with a driveway that is partially unusable because it is in need of full repair.  I expect that since Mr. Moore has stated he deducted $300 from the actual agreed upon price of $1850 (which he was paid), he should reimburse me $300 immediately or he may choose to hire someone to repair my driveway.  Either option is acceptable to me.  He may send me a check for $300 or repair my driveway.

Revdex.com spoke with the consumer today and he stated that Tracey Moore had been out of town but has provided the amount he stated he would.
