We just received final payment on this project and would like to put this all behind usI have absolutely no bad feelings and I'm just glad he loves his new bathroomI hope Mr*** feels the same way. Dan McKenna

I must say I am a bit baffled by the claims of Mr. [redacted]. Never did I hear a complaint of time framesuntil/ wanted to collect the final payment when we were finished. My project manager Gary, whomakes sure the job runs smoothly collects the final payment when the job is completed. At that time...

Mr.[redacted] told Gary that the job was beautiful and that he wanted to talk to me before he paid the finalinstallment. Still no complaint about timing.When Mr. [redacted] and I met back in April, we talked about turning a powder room into a fullworking bathroom with a shower where there was no shower or tub before. This included gutting theentire room, moving the toilet drain and water line to a different part of the room, adding new watersupply lines and a new drain for the shower to be. Our company installed a 42" neo angle corner showerbase and walls. We do install showers (for 51 years now). We tiled the floor and baseboard tiles also.This shower is not a basic size shower and requires final measuring and fabrication to make sure twoglass panels and the glass door fit perfectly. We do use a professional glass company to do only the glassenclosure. we must authorize the final details for the glass enclosure before the installation and this didtake a few extra days in which we are very sorry for that delay.Mr. [redacted] from the beginning was told that materials for his job would be 6-8 weeks and then wewould schedule the installation. We are a company that takes pride in our work and we only use thebest of installers. We do not just get somebody to do it. The timing was not out of the ordinary exceptfor the extra time to get the custom door authorized ... that was not right but we took care of it rightaway. There are 3 bathrooms in the house and this room had never had a shower in it before. Thebathroom was completely done and useable minus the shower door and panels after 2 weeks.I have enclosed the only letter I had ever received from Mr. [redacted] back on May 8th stating that the"price seems high but I'll get back to you". In late May Mr. [redacted] came in to our showroom and saidwe were $2000.00 more than he wanted to spend. I told him that that is what it would have to be to dothis job and he left the store at that time. On June 7'h Mr. [redacted] came back to the showroom andsaid he wanted to do the project. At that time I took a deposit to get materials and fixtures on order andalso at that time he knew the time frame we were looking at. No problems with any times given.At this point the bathroom is completely finished and Gary tries to collect the balance of $1549.00 butMr. [redacted] as I stated above wants to talk to me first. I called him right away and 1 asked how thebathroom is and he tells me "It's beautiful and we really love it." I was very happy to hear that they lovetheir new bathroom and then Mr. [redacted] says "BUT, we don't feel we should have to pay the balancebecause it took a little longer than we would have liked" 1 told Mr. [redacted] that there was no way Icould just forget about the balance and that is when he hung up.Since that time, I sent an invoice to Mr. [redacted] for final payment. I received another $1000.00 towardthe balance which leaves $549.00. I don't feel we should just forgive the balance because although therewas a slight delay in authorizing the install of the custom glass enclosure, it does not warrant not payingthe bill.Thank you very much for your time,Dan McKenna @ McKenna's Kitchen & Bath Centers
