I submitted a contract to Mr.[redacted] to asphalt patch 800 sq ft of parking lot in specified area's.
I submitted the contract via email and it was accepted for the amount of $3,200.00.
Upon arrival Mr. [redacted] (as they always do) wanted to...

renegotiate my contract to $2,500.00 dollars. After deliberating the contract I submitted to do it for the $2,500.00.
The area's increased to 1100 sq ft. after we saw cut area's to make job uniform but Mr. [redacted] refused to pay for the extra work therefore I asked him to at lease pay for the asphalt from the balance he owed.
After we had prepared the area's for asphalt it rained profusely for many days which prevented us from asphalting because the asphalt would not adhere properly over wet rock.
Finally it stopped raining long enough that the rock cold properly dry and we could begin asphalting. I informed Mr. [redacted] that we would be there at 7 am and if he would have cash to pay for the asphalt because I didn't want to wait until the bank open at 9am because we were trying to beat the heat of the day.
Mr. [redacted] asked why I needed cash and I reiterated the above and he was to meet me at the jobsite at 8am.
In lieu of beginning that morning I sent two men to prepare the area's the night before so that we wouldn't have to endure the heat.
The next morning Mr. [redacted] was not on the job site by 8am. I was there on time with a seven men crew, trucks, rollers and paver but he didn't show. I had his employee phone him and I texted and emailed him but to no avail. His employee said that he would be there by 11am but we weren't about to wait until 11am therefore we left for another job. Later that evening Mr. [redacted] called and said that we could come finish but he wasn't going to pay for the asphalt. As far I was concerned that statement terminated my deal with Mr [redacted] because I wasn't going to give him more than he was paying for and pay for it as well.
I have emails of the whole process and the only culprit here is Mr [redacted] trying to get something for nothing.
