Review: Charged for installing a thermostat offered by the company for a flat fee of $329. This did not include the charge for visit to home.

The charge does not itemize the cost of the unit purchased and the basis for "installation".

It was not unreasonable to assume I was purchasing an expensive thermostat, a choice I made since I had no heat, to replace my nonworking thermostat.

It is unreasonable to discover the thermostat is a $60 item and that the charge therefore for installation was $229...

the installation took 10 minutes with a screwdriver. A licensed electrician would cost $80 for the first half hour. But T Webber charged three times that amount with no explanation or recourse.

I am a longtime customer and can't abide improper business practices. There is no reason to exploit a customer.

One phone call the day after the service was provided yielded a call back where I was able to explain the issue. I was promised a return call to resolve the isssue, but none was forthcoming. Only the credit card charge.Desired Settlement: $150 refund for overcharge of services.
