Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

I will be happy to refund half the registration fee, as the student attend half the class[redacted] ***

Customer's interpretation of the facts is incorrect. The weather forecast may differ from what the actual temperatures were and in fact they often doThat is a fact of life in ColoradoThat is an obvious challenge and decisions about class cancellations can only be made based upon forecastsI cannot divine the future and must rely on National Weather Service forecasts, which I did for Sunday, when the high all day was predicted to be If he were being reasonable, he would see how ridiculous his claim that I should have known what the actual temperature would be appears in the argument. He may attend a later classHis registration will not expire, so his claim that I am keeping his money is false. The no refund policy standsHe accepted that policy when he registered for the class or he would not have been able to complete the registration.Offering classes in a safe manner is my responsibility, and I take that seriouslyHis opinions do nothing to change how I must deal with the constraints of offering motorcycle safety classes outside in Colorado weather

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: This does me no good, as I will still need to repeat the entire class Even if I am refunded half the registration fee, I
am receiving nothing tangible in exchange for my $ I would like a full refund
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

The student who filed this complaint registered online on January 12, 2016 ([redacted]).  1- Home page of website clearly states that all classes are weather permitting. (See copy of Homepage of T3RG website attached) Weather was the factor that caused the cancellation 24 hours in advance of...

class. Safety would have been an issue had the class proceeded, if the forecast held true. Student insists the weather was fine the afternoon of day 1...a irrelevant fact that could not have been known in advance. Colorado weather can change in a day, and as student safety is a primary concern, I make the decision about classes proceeding within 24 hours of start date this time of year after reviewing the 24-36 hour forecast. Student was contacted with our decision to cancel class on Friday, Feb 5. Weather forecasts predicted temps below safe riding levels for day 2 of the riding portion, Sunday, Feb 7, and because there was a bank of hard snow at the top of the range at Rangeview High School that could have caused safety concerns Saturday afternoon when the snow pack melted over the surface of the riding area. 2- Registration form clearly states that we do not give refunds.  We are willing to make a change in class date with 24 hours notice. The no refund policy is listed in the Terms and Conditions of registration form that are posted as part of the registration process, (student must accept Terms and Conditions to proceed and complete registration). The no refund policy is also stated in the confirmation email, sent to confirm the date and location selected by the student. (See attached confirmation email sent to Mr. Jones on January 12, 2016)Student was given an option to reschedule class date for a future time that is convenient for him...which would also be weather dependent. Student was told he could select a later date for reschedule...he refused to select a date for rescheduling class.Student fabricated a story about why class was cancelled, posted story on several social media sites, and filed the complaint with Revdex.com rather than recognizing the facts of the matter: weather was the determining factor in cancelling the class on Friday. Safety is a primary concern. Our adherence to safety concerns has resulted in zero serious issues in the 13 years we have been offering motorcycle training in Colorado. It is unfortunate this student has taken this position, and he is still eligible to attend class a another date. We do not give refunds. The decision to cancel was made to protect the safety of the students based on the information in hand 24-36 hours in advance from the National Weather Service. None of the other sessions were held over the same weekend. He indicated in an email to me that he was a disabled veteran so I gave him the veteran discount as a partial rebate of $25. He is not due a refund both because we do not give refunds and his conflagration of the facts is totally false.
