T8 Concrete

Review: T8 Concrete has been extremely slow on fulfilling it's contract with our company, [redacted], such that it is damaging our project. It is pushing the entire new home construction project back. T8 Concrete's owner would often become unresponsive, effectively abandoning the project multiple times. This has led to a constant presence of uncertainty, as his inconsistent attendance has delayed us numerous times.The contract was anticipated to be done in just 3 months. 7 months later, the work was only 75% complete, yet we had paid off T8 Concrete 100% of the contract despite our right to retain 10% until job completion; We were generous in order to encourage T8 to get the project back on track but our trust was betrayed again and again through further no shows and delays, stretching our tolerance to our limits. T8 apparently does not pay his subcontractors on occasion either, as they have come to us at times to seek him out and their promised pay from us as well.Desired Settlement: We have fired T8 concrete and hired another contractor to complete the unfinished work, which is equal to 25% of the contract. We want T8 Concrete, who has been paid in full on good faith despite not delivering in a timely manner, to return 25% of the contract. This amounts to $41,250.
